Thank you for this. I got the pass today and in doing so have had to pay extra for something thats “on them”. I’m usually patient but this really bugs me.
It was Microsoft’s fault for putting out the map pack on the in store marketplace for LE and map pack pass owners without checking if it was going to be free for everyone else.

Three maps at full price - 2400 MSP = $30
Map pass at standalone price - 2000 MSP = $25
Download Crimson pack, buy other two at full price - 1600 MSP = $20
It’s more expensive to buy the map pass than it is to take advantage of the MS error - you’re paying LESS.

i bought the LE and im not complaining. i wish the spec codes wouldve come out at least a week later but other than that i dont care.
Yea but what about the people that paid 800 msp [10$]for the stand alone map pack?
I have LE and i don’t mind, its just a glitch in the system/mistake by Microsoft. World isn’t perfect.

This is a matter of principle. It has nothing to do with greed or stinginess.
If you’re an enormous company and you make a screw-up like this, you make sure people are compensated. It’s just the non--Yoink!- thing to do.
Then again must of us are using Microsoft software for years now without paying. Had it comin’ huh?
The map pass was a measly $25…come on. Plus, the LE came with other things. I didn’t realize we lived in a 3rd world country.

I can’t tell if you’re serious or not. If you are I don’t understand how you could not be worried about losing out on $10. The maps were basically the only thing left that gave value to the LE. Spec codes devalued it and all we have left is the crappy armor it came with.
I work for my money, I have to pay for school, I don’t like throwing money away for no reason and you are suggesting I’m greedy because I’m worried about $10.

Not about being greedy it is the principle, why should we pay when others do not, probably others like you who get their parents to pay it or have a nice cushy life that they can afford to burn £10 on nothing.

I forgot that the Limited Edition didn’t come with a metal case, Forward Unto Dawn, and other paraphernalia. Spec codes didn’t devalue it either. The Limited Edition clearly stated “early access to specialization codes”. I’d consider a month early access.
What about the people that bought the pack alone for 800 msp? like myself, you dont think they got cheated out at all

Not all LE owners are ticked off. I could care less, and am a little disgusted by the reaction.
“I bought this movie, but then I found out that some filthy downloaders got it for free when they weren’t supposed to. Therefore, I should be given something more for free, because I have entitlement issues.”
Everyone who paid has been ripped off, i know its a mistake but its not a casual woops, this is a big deal that needs to be dealt with.
