I am 1 of many who thinks that the DMR kills way too fast. But at the same time i am also against slowing down the firerate for the DMR because the DMR is the only good counter to the sniper. So i am saying that instead of having the weapon a 5 (or 4), make it a 6-7 shot like the carbine and increase the bullet clip in the DMR to 16-20 shots instead of 12.

Why don’t you just kill them before they kill you?

The TU’s kill times are like COD kill times which i have always hated, the 1 that sees the other guy first, wins.

You need to strafe. Jumping’s a good trick too. So is crouching and ghandi hopping.

This. The kill times for the Halo CE pistol and Halo 2 BR are still faster than the zero bloom DMR, it’s just that strafing is almost useless in Reach because off the slow movement and movement acceleration.

I know how to play the game, as i am 50 in TS, Snipe, Swat, Doubs, and 48 MLG in halo 3. But altough this is just my opinion. The halo 3 BR fights usually lasted for at least 2 seconds, where it now lasts 1 or less. And even with faster movements and higher jump heights they are still to fast. Maybe NO speed acceleration can fix this.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again. I am NOT a fan of faster kill times. Every game has fast kill times, I am not a fan of taking pot shots and winning. I like the over all gladatorial style combat that Halo has. It is unique and fun.

No, leave it as it is, Zero Bloom wont be forced on you, Vanilla Reach will always be available for playing.

Also, the DMR has been a 15 Shot Clip on Retail since release, not 12.

Yes but only slightly.

A very small cap to the RoF, about the same as H3 or perhaps a bit slower, would be appropriate. (Note that this would still make kill times faster than H3 due to increased hit detection, hitscan and 3x scope).
