You shouldn’t have a say so on where the direction of the game should go.
Cod killed the shooter genre at least it’s popularity. People like cod because it’s easy. People like Halo because it had challenge and took skill.

Everyone has an opinion and has every right to share it.

I know it’s an oft stated Internet joke, but this time it’s true. Your opinion is wrong.
I feel like only those that started with halo ce should have a say (sorry h2) and halo 5 is awesome
I feel like anybody who plays any Halo gets a say. My god, some of you people need to check yourselves. Your opinion is no better than anybody else’s.

Mine is lol
So the Halo 3 MP is not representative of Halo ? That’s what you say ?
If you didn’t start with Halo CE then you should not have a say on Halo 5…only the OGs (like me) know what a true Halo fan should be.
Hell you don’t even know what a LAN party is.
Are you saying that people who didn’t play the previous Halos don’t have say because they’re less skillful? Because a quick view of your profile shows that despite playing all the Halos, you aren’t a very good player yourself.
Everyone should have a right to input what they’d like to see in the game. At the end of the day, the loyal fans who keep buying the games should have their say. If that means the games become more casual then so be it. If you ask me, Halo 5 is actually one of the more competitive Halos (since Halo 2).

Oh, shut up. A huge amount of Halo fans started with Halo 3, including me, and I think my opinion matters as a Halo fan.
and halo 5 takes skill… that’s why you are mad I suppose

Why are you speaking for me? I was introduced to (and started playing) Halo in 2002 and I played because it was FUN. My (small) dislike for Halo began when everyone started playing “BRs only” in Halo 2. The games just became a BR fest and THAT’S why I decided to move one to other FPSs.
I agree with you when you say that COD killed the shooter genre, but people won’t return en masse to Halo because it takes skill. 343i needs to make the game fun first
IMO, 343 needs to focus on:

How did you not come back to Halo 3 when it was quite possibly one of the best and liveliest games for customs!
Also I was really bad at H2 when I had it. I was a dinosaur player who would rather glitch out of maps then BR scrims all day or at all for that matter.
And I have to say you must have played Halo 2 all wrong. I remember in my years with it I hardly touched BR but damn did I play a ton of customs!

I played custom games in Halo 2 all the time. Getting together with friends and new people that you recently met online to play a game of zombies or tower defense (in Ascension) is what made Halo 2 awesome. By the time I started playing Halo 3 (at launch) I lost contact with many of my Halo friends so I just stuck to online ranked/social matches, which were mostly a BR fest. I stuck around in Halo 3 (from launch to late 2009) because I loved the game and the franchise, but I hated what is became.
Hahaha. people shouldn’t have a say? What are you even talking about? And who do you think YOU are exactly? The creator of halo? An artist? A dev? A map designer? Anything other than a consumer? Just stop talking bro. Or at least contribute something other than close minded, entitled…thoughtlessness.
