There is zero reason their shouldn’t be an option to search alone in ALL of the playlists . I don’t know why it took 343 nearly a decade to add a basic feature like that, only to put it in one playlist. There is not a single person on the planet that enjoys searching alone and matching groups. If it takes a little longer to search I don’t care, we should all have the option to do it.

Couldn’t agree more. Party matching needs to be a thing. I don’t care if it takes teams 30 minutes to find a match.
If you search with a team you should face a team. It makes the game fair. I’ve complained about this for years and 343i has mention “classic matching” before so they know what it is.
If the Population is strong then add it to the game. At least add the option for players to search for solo/duo queues and allow us who care not to face teams.
Seriously this needs added bad and it ruins leaderboards or any stats because large teams just pad their stats and have insane k/d’s because they pub stomp randoms and go 15-0 every match

While I agree with the idea, I just don’t see it playing out well.
I don’t think it’s population is high enough, there wouldn’t be enough full teams searching which would then result in people coming here and complaining they can’t find games while wanting to play with their friends.
If the game was booming then a separate playlist for teams specifically would work really well.
I wish this was possible though, I used to search in teams a lot and try match other teams back on Reach, finding solo players was irritating, especially in BTB.
