I’ve been a fan since the very beginning and have been loyal to Halo for a long time, even with your bad titles, like Halo 4 and Halo 5. So far, at least the story of the new Halo is not bad, but… I’ve heard in the meantime that you want to release paid DLCs. ARE YOU CRAZY?! Yes, it’s open world, but it’s not an MMO, it’s a first-person shooter! I understand that you want/need to make money, but doing it this way is unfortunately more than just brazen of you! Es gab nie kostenpflichtige DLCs für Halo, wenn ihr neue Teile rausbringt, geh ich gerne hin und kauf ihn mir, aber da werd ich nicht mitmachen! Ich war dabei, als ihr ein mehr schlechtes Halo 4 rausbrachtet, ich war dabei, als ihr dieses peinliche Halo 5 rausbrachtet. ICH WERDE NICHT DABEI SEIN, WIE IHR HALO ENDGÜLTIG ZUGRUNDE RICHTET! Halo war mal so viel mehr als eine Geldmaschine! Was zum Teufel macht ihr daraus? Der Multiplayer ist F2P? If you want to play the season, it will automatically be P2W and also the prices in your in-game shop are exaggerated, apart from the fact that there is some ugly crap in there.

I don’t really find it crazy.
Destinies 1-2 did it, Halo Wars 2 did it, and even the Master Chief Collection (MCC) did it.
If they’re able to push out really good stories for standard fare (around 15-20 USD), I’d be more than happy to buy DLC content.

Ju, bishin, dass eines Tages ein schöner toller Season-Pass ala Fallout 76 oder TESO kommt. Nein, ich seh es garantiert nicht ein! Es kommen überall nur ständig halbfertige Spiele raus, kein Spieler sagt was, es wird schön mitgemacht, nur um zu sehen wie es weiter geht. Ich habe nur um zu sehen wie es weiter geht, diesen Schund, der sich Halo 5 nennt gekauft, in Hoffnung, es würde nach 4 mal wieder besser werden. Wenn ihr die Augen verschließen wollt, bitte, ich nicht! Ich garantiere dir, dass wenn das so jetzt kommt, büßen sie richtig viele Spieler ein. Persönlich kenne ich schon so einige, die jetzt schon nein sagen! Sie halten auch bisher nur die MCC, weil es das bisher beste von 343 war und trotz Bugs und Serverproblemen Spaß macht, ich denke aber eher nicht, dass die Mehrheit der Fans es mitmachen wird, wenn wir jetzt anfangen müssen Story-Häppchen zu bezahlen!

It’s all about pricing, as long as they don’t try and bleed us dry it will be fine. They do need to make some money out the game.
All entertainment usually comes with a cost, movies, music, clubbing, vary rarely does it come free so why would it be different for DLC?

Of course, they have to earn money, they also do, at the normal price of 70 euros. Not everyone uses Game Pass 
In return, I’ll ask you another question: Why story DLCs at all? Why isn’t a dam it game released completely finished? Why do you have to put one on it again and again? They have their microtransactions and their unnecessary Battle Pass, let them keep their hands off the story! I see it coming that if we let them go through paid DLCs, sooner or later a Season Pass ala Fallout 76 and TESO will come out!
I think we have DLC because the content being released is not big enough to be a sequel. I am quite happy for them to keep adding DLC as long as it’s fairly priced.
I do see your point about them holding back content which should have been included in the original release, and badging it as DLC, that is wrong but I haven’t finished the game yet so I do t know how big it is and if it feels like a full game.
For me, as I have mentioned previously, it’s all about how they price the content.

I think it’s fundamentally wrong and in any case I won’t go along with it if this happens. Should free DLC come, it’s something else, so I’ll wait and see what my own further behavior is concerned. I’m not far along with the story either, but a buddy of mine was on normal within 8-10 hours of playtime.

at least the game is decent and I am loving multiplayer.
Haven’t played the MP yet, I’m just on the story, which is after all the most important thing about Halo. But to be honest, I still have nothing to complain about, I don’t complain about the game, but about decisions they make or still want to make. And it’s not against other players and fans, but only against 343 
I agree. The game makers these days want the money but don’t want to put the real effort into the games. They can’t even release a complete game but want us to PAY for add ons? they crazy…
