I’ve had one had one BR match in three days.
Finally got another one, and did it feel good.
Was starting to think I was never any good at this game.

The variants SUCK. They don’t belong here and they should have yoinkin took a poll to see what WE wanted. Instead we got what THEY wanted which is BS. 
Hopefully they will see a MAJORITY do not like them and they will return it to the way it is SUPPOSED to be!!!

In 25 matches yesterday, only 3 br matches for me. That is just crazy to me. Also out of those 25 I got pistol once.

Sidekicks sucked.
Mangler was fun.
BR is still best.
Didn’t play the week of Commandos.
While I prefer BR the most, I’m also a big fan of having a lot of options. H5 has about five different variants and I think it’s the best SWAT playlist of the franchise.
How in the hell they thought the mangler belonged in Swat I’ll never figure that out. Weapon variants are fine, BUT these are all horrible choices. We need the DMR, the Magnum and the BR. That is it. And have the BR be the weapon 80% of the time, not 5% as it seems it is now. What moron made that decision??

I actually like the mangler mode and others. It’s a fun challenge once in a while, and makes SWAT more close-combat. However, I agree that I miss generally having the br experience. I am fine with the mixed weapon modes, but wish things like the mangler, stalker, ect were less frequent. I should get a BR match like every 7 out of 10 games.

NO!!! TAKE TESE CRAP WEAPONS AWAY AND BRING BACK BR’S!! One game of BR’s and 20 with these crap weapons is terrible. What made 343 think this was what we wanted???

My first match of tactical slayer was a lovely round of BRs. Now I don’t want to spoil the feeling by playing a second round and getting a different weapon.
I don’t necessarily mind the variety it’s the weighting. (I’d still love a BR only option though.)

The, god I can’t believe I’m saying this, mangler is ok for SWAT. The stalker and commando need to go. One is a sniper rifle and the other is an automatic, neither has a place in a precision mode. Now the sidekick would be fine if they got rid of all the bloom, right now it’s a spam fest which sucks.
The fact that I haven’t had a BR match in like a week is starting to get annoying also. This is my favorite mode and they are truthfully killing it for me.

No, not at all. I absolutely love SWAT (or tactical slayer now for whatever reason). I came back to season two after several months of not playing the game, and was very surprised by the new weapon modes. I never liked swatnums in previous halos, but some of these are even worse. Having a fully automatic commando in a game meant for single, precision shots or bursts feels really out of place. I never much cared for the mangler, even before it got nerfed. I have yet to play the stalker rifle mode, which I may actually enjoy as it could be similar to Reach-like DMR in SWAT gameplay. But overall I just want to play SWAT with a BR.
Boy would I love map/gametype voting to come back, or at least MCC-like filters for more specific gametypes
