Kill yourself. Absolutely absurd to play a multiplayer game without communication. Especially a team driven game such as Halo. No teamwork, no winning.

What if a person is mute?

Why? so far there doesn’t seem to be too many people actually using mics and the one that are are either blaring crap music or sound like a five year old.

> What if a person is mute?

What if I had no hands?

Yeah that’s going to motivate so many to plug in there mics. Kill yourself, you suck, what are you doing, I hate (enter ethnic slur here) … The list goes on. Then the squeakers or throaty kids always asking the same questions over and over and over again. Oh I have a mic but it’s usually on orange for a good reason.

ROFL!

OK, what if the person has a mic, but doesn’t speak English? Should they kill themselves too?

What if they have a mic but are in party chat, not game chat?

No. It’s absolutely absurd to take a game so seriously you tell someone to kill themselves for not communicating with you. And i have a mic.

You really think that telling people to kill themselves if they play without a mic will solve the problem?

I don’t even think anyone will plug their mic in after seeing this thread either. XBL is a swamp when it comes to people who actually communicate, there are a few rare good looking flowers here and there but the rest is just swamp gas that smells bad.

The ten last times I tried to communicate with people who actually talked they immediatley started insulting me and what not. Doesn’t help if I’m not as good as them either, then I’m just cut down on my skill.

While I try to send GG’s after games that actually were good, I don’t communicate with other’s because I’m tired of muting people all the time.

It would be better if people tried explaining how to play instead of yelling how I suck balls at the game. You know, general politeness?

I have a mic but I don’t use it to avoid people that care about the game too much like yourself. I play to enjoy myself and relax… Not to shout commands to randoms online. If it really matters to you that much you should probably consider brightening up your attitude. I hear if you have a nice party to play with you don’t have to worry about whether or not people will have mics.

If you want people to talk in a game then the Ai have to have pinning animations. Nothing gets a person using a mic like having a jockey from left4dead humping their heads.

If not having a mic means that they won’t hear the likes of you, then I encourage them to not use mics.

Pls go.

What If I don’t want to hear raging, screaming kids and Darth Vader on the end of my mic? Answer me that

Unfortunately the only comms I have heard playing Halo are…

> YOU STOLE MY MANTIS… YOU COULD SEE I WAS RUNNING BEHIND YOU TO GET IT.

Yeah… someone said that to me. Guess Spartans have rear view mirrors now.

> YOU insert swear words here. You more swear words stole my kill.

The best though is the 8 year old telling me what I have to do and mouthing off when I ignore him. Same thing happened in COD.

This is why I no longer connect up my microphone. I have one but there is wayyyyyy less hassle not using it. It’s not as if I am at a MLG match after all. The only time I will mic up is when I am with my friends, never with randoms.

What a bold statement.

because using a mic means dealing with squeakers, trolls, unpleasantness and ppl mad at you for winning losing or breathing. in fact in games like cod mw3 i specifically mute ppl because their voice plays over the speakers wether i want it to or not so it isnt uncommon for me to come acrossed already muted players. and when i do have a mic im in a party with my cousin or alone just cause i like how turtle beach makes my game sound. nobody likes talking to randoms or PUGs

Don’t make me call the ice cream truck…

Anyway, you could play with friends, who KNOW what their doing, instead of being butthurt, shouting commands and insulting your team. Not that I do that anyway.

That always show great leadership. /sarcasm

Just get a group of friends and play with them. A good majority of the randoms players wouldn’t care to listen to other randoms.
