A few matches now, I been in matches where I was the only player using heavy ordinance to take out tough bosses and vehicles while everyone was either rushing in with ARs to Die or camping back with BRs, basically doing nothing meaningful to contribute to the team. You need to use your reqs if you ever hope to win past Wave 3 90% of the time. You can’t rely on only your base weapons or pray everyone else will spawn a power weapon so you don’t have to. It doesn’t work that way. All it causes is for you to complain that firefight is to hard, lose the game, and cry that it should be nerfed. When it could’ve been won if you weren’t stingy with your reqs and spawned a power weapon of your own.
And if you don’t have any reqs to use. Then please for the love of god, play the regular game, like Warzone Assualt. And Farm a bunch of Bronze and Silver packs to build up your collection so you can be useful to the team.

I agree with everything you just said and mainly that last part. If you want to play warzone do not play the hardest variant of it if you have very few Reqs

yup. People are wondering why they keep losing and its mainly because they aren’t using reqs. Seriously doe banshee ultra destroys in FF… FF is hard but its easy when the whole team uses banshees tanks wraiths etc. I remember on the new map where round 5 = protecting the 3 cores. We all had vehicles out and there were just phantom spawn spam just spawning one after another after another and it was funny as -Yoink- lol .

People seem to ignore the turrets on tanks. Whilst not as powerful as another tank they put out alot more damage than a BR.
I agree. Last night I was playing a game, and we were on wave 5 fighting 3 Wardens. I had a Scorpion and another guy had a Phaeton Helios, but everybody else was charging in with BRs and DMRs.
Suffice to say that we lost the match, even though I took out a Warden all of my own and half of the second one…
I totally agree. I played a game with a friend last night, we both had 60 some kills and the next highest was 24 cause they weren’t using Reqs. It gets frustrating
Ah,… thats a negative sir. I will not being doing that. Firefight only serves as aiming practice for the other gametypes. It makes no difference to me if I win or lose.
Edit: I may consider using a turret warthog since I never use them in regular warzone.

Exactly. If i like to play with an ar and br at all times i will. If you dont like it get your friends together and jump in a party.
What happens when people use their reqs
There were at least 2 Wasp and 4 scorpions in play at the end
I was actually against the compulsion to “waste” Reqs on WZFF at first until I realized how much more Req loot you get from completed rounds. Now I use Reqs in FF that I don’t use in reg WZ just to get used to them in a live fire exercise, and it’s pretty fun. I never knew the Scout Warthog and regular rocket launcher could be actually useful!
Some final rounds require reqs and some do not,but i agree some people do not contribute whit their reqs and i kind of include my self.
I finally get to use the mantis effectively, trust me when I say this is the game mode to play with reqs.
Lol I’m happy I’m not the only one who thinks this needs addressed. Most people wait for me to spawn banshees
The fact that we even need to use REQs to succeed is sad. What happened to Firefight being a real challenge? One that didn’t rely on bullet sponge enemies with crazy accuracy and damage output and ridiculously long respawn timers?
I want a Firefight that requires skill, teamwork, coordination, and strategy to pull through. Not the combined fire of over powered weapons and vehicles.

Those games when you have almost 100 kills and take out 3 wardens or 4 mythic wraiths does one feel rather badass though lol
I agree 100% though. I also think that’s why there are so many req packs to obtain early on through firefight commendations. After opening all of them I have enough tanks to start an army and enough rocket launchers to orbit the earth.

Yeah, I laughed when I went to your profile. Dude, if somebody want to run laps with a scout hog they can. That is their business. As long as they don’t grief or violate terms of service they can do as they like.
