just a simple question
It would either be a game on the book Ghosts of Onyx, or a ODST 2
I want to see a Halo Tactical Shooter video game where UNSC Marines are the main characters especially if it’s going in a style of the Brothers in Arms video games.
An open world Halo RPG would be interesting.
I have many ideas, but one of the most I want to see is a horror based game, the Halo universe has the ability to create this perfectly if well plotted
For campaign i would like some rpg influence.
So you can play the game with different skillsets.
Heavy armored, sneaky, marksman…
but multiplayer it should stay classic with only minor changes.
Its still halo, right?

I agree I love Ghosts of Onyx
It would be an rpg type game that takes place on arcadia where you play as a spartan squad(Omega squad) after The planet was glassed. You have to try and repel covenant forces off of the planet and train your squad to be stronger.

That book was awesome.
It would be an rpg game where you create your own character and meet people throughout the course of the game. It would follow you, a UNSC marine, and your journey from joining the Marine Corps, to finding out that aliens exist (first contact), and it’s offer a very personal, emotional look into what the soldiers had to go through during the war. There would be no Spartans, and any heroes would be as mortal as the rest of us. It’d be dirty, dark, and full of sorrow and hope and loss and new beginnings. It’d really show the point of view of common soldiers during the Human-Covenant war, the losing battle against heartless massive aliens that are destroying worlds. It’d be kinda like a mix between Halo and Mass Effect, with a rich story and decision making, but it’d be mostly linear and play like an fps.
I would also love to see a game that purely follows the PoV of a Sangheili during the civil war on Sangheilios. A man who is fighting for a better future for his people, only to have his own race slaughter his family, and you go on a mission of revenge fueled by hope and pain.
I’d want a game set on Harvest prior to, during, and after the Covenant’s invasion. I would have the main character be a marine or ODST and the game would start with the player fighting the Insurrectionists for the first few missions. The player, like most of humanity, is unaware that a small force had recently attempted first contact with the Covenant, to disastrous results. A few missions in is when the Covenant invade in full force. Being caught completely off guard, the player is suddenly forced to fight aliens that are far superior enemies to the usual Innies they’ve been fighting for years. The Covenant could be remade to be very intimidating and deadly enemies to fight, to the point where standard UNSC weapons at the time do little damage to them (since they weren’t designed to shoot energy shields). Waging war to save the planet is deemed impossible so the only option is to save as many lives as possible and survive. But will your marine/ODST survive? Or will they be among the first to die in the nearly 30-year long war? The game would end, of course, with the Covenant glassing Harvest and transmitting their ominous message: “Your destruction is the will of the gods. And we are their instrument.”
That’s just a rough idea of what I’d do if I started my own Halo game. I really just want something that takes place during the war.
Honestly I’d like multiple endings to a halo game, and different playable Spartans, anyone
Here is another idea that I really want to see in the Halo Franchise. I would love to see a Halo Survival Horror video game where the story is about UNSC Marines or ODST Troopers trying to survive the Flood infestation. It will be great to see the game going in a style of the Resident Evil 2 remake video game especially if 343 Industries want to bring Capcom in to help them do the Halo Survival Horror video game.
I would make a Halo game on the scale of No Man’s Sky.
It would be set after the Human-Covenant war where your character can be either human, Elite, or a Brute. You would be able to visit tens of thousands of planets, some having Forerunner ruins to explore and relics to collect. Along the way you would encounter all manner of wildlife and other species at trading posts such as Engineer’s, Jackels, and Grunts. You would even have a chance to find and explore the Halo rings.

I like this idea, I admire the open-world take, and finding halo rings and exploring them would be so sick.
Like squadrons, but with elites and Spartans, it would be a way to expand on halo reaches space combat.
I’d make a very dark and mature tactical open world ODST game with a gameplay style similar to Rainbow Six Vegas. It would focus on storytelling of the late days of the war with the insurrectionists followed by the very early days of the human convent war. Gameplay would be more centered around the “average” human rather then a super solider Spartan. It would also incorporate aspects of deteriorating mental health of the ODST’s as the situation around them slowly became worse.
A massive warzone that people can join and disconnect with no penalties and AIs to kill and it would rack up a whole bunch of XP but that is more of a multiplayer idea instead of campaign too
This question is huge, I could write a book about this…
