If you leave a game because you are losing

Then I hate you and everything you stand for

That’s understandable and I think most people would agree.

I don’t get it. Why risk being banned? Just hide in the corner XD

I have yet to quit a game in Halo 5, but if someone isn’t having fun in a match, why shouldn’t they be allowed to leave? Are they supposed to sacrifice they’re enjoyment of this game (that they payed for) just so you can have fun? Sounds pretty selfish to me.

By leaving the game you’re ruining the match for everyone else just so you don’t lose. Sounds pretty selfish to me.

So it’s selfish on both ends. However the person who wants to quit is no longer having fun, while the people who are winning are most likely still having fun.

Don’t know about you, but if I’m winning a match, it doesn’t ruin my fun if the other team starts leaving. If anything I’m having more fun because I know I’m playing good enough to make other people quit.

I’ve won games because the entire apposing team quit. I’ve lost games because my entire team quit.

It’s less prevalent than it used to be (in H4), but it’s still way, way, way too common. With the bans in place, I don’t get why people do it. I have yet to back out of an arena game (I have backed out of Warzone once, but those have join in progress and a lot of players so it’s no biggie…), and I don’t plan to.

Stick it out to the end people. You loose more rank points for backing out, you get banned for backing out, and you -Yoink- your team even more by backing out.

I believe if you quit from a game it ok in my book, because you should not have to stay in game you know it going sux ball.

If I could I’d send them some paper towels to them so they can dry their salty tears.

Don’t quit please. Camp or STAY WITH YOUR TEAMMATES. That’s all.

That`s great, inless your playing slayer.

If your playing slayer, it makes the game take till end time.

There is nothing fun about looking for one person on a map for ten minutes, and given every playlist has some variation of Slayer it’s going to happen a lot.

That doesn’t really bother me. If someone wants camp and run out the time cause their teammates left, I’m fine with it. I mean, I’m gonna win regardless, so I leave them alone and let the timer run down.

“But we aren’t in the lead by 20 points within the first 30 seconds! This match is certainly a lost cause!”

LOL. I fully support this and stand with you, OP.

I believe slayer matches start at 10 minutes. So unless the other team quits at the start, you really only have a couple minutes before the game ends at the point that the other team starts leaving.

It hurts the whole team. Youll do pretty well to win 3 v 4 or less. Which results in a loss. It really does suck !!

Played strongholds for the first time. Lost 0-100. Didn’t quit but desperately wanted to.
It’s not about getting good. It’s about having options to not go against a team of excessively tryhardy people. It’s about fun factor before anything else.

I think the people who leaves from the start are worse, but this issue you’re referring to is a pain as well.

You really just have to choose your quits wisely. 90% of the time, I power through the bad matches, but after my 5th or 6th game of warzone where my party of two can’t help our team hold even one armory, then I’m quitting. Likewise, if we’re losing a game in Arena and one or two quit, I’m out. You just have to do it sparingly and leave hours in between.
