If you kill off Master Chief Soon or anytime in the future I will be pissed and be done with the halo series.

I wouldn’t mind. Halo is more than master chief. It’s a large universe with many stories to explore. It’s also better to end a main characters story rather than potentially milking his life span out.

Whoever told you that was lying. Im sure only Frankie and a handful of others know the fate of the Master Chief. He isnt going anywhere soon.

Master Chief isnt even my favorite Spartan so if he wasnt around it wouldnt bother me to much honestly.

When I think if halo I think of the competitive multiplayer first man, and all the lore it has and can still add to it. I don’t buy games just for a character(granted I love character background and such). It’s also part of the reason I’ve never been bothered having arbiter in h2 or Locke in h5 take missions away from cheif.
Come on, seriously, Chief’s death is seriously on the cards for Halo 6. I, for one, look forward to seeing him make the ultimate sacrifice for humanity.

Yeah… no. When I think of Halo I think of the massive universe Bungie created in 2001 and 343i continued. The universe filled with unexplored stories, planets, characters, and more. I think of the mysteries created and the ones left to be found. Chief can go get killed and I would still play Halo because Halo is Halo, not the Chief.

Definitely. After all look at Reach and ODST. The only appearance John makes in either of those is an easter egg at the end of Reach aboard the Pillar of Autumn.

Master chief could arguably not be all of halo but he is the face off xbox. When you think of Xbox you think master chief and has been for 10+ years. Is Locke going to be the new face ?

It’ll be like when they killed off the main character of assassin’s creed, but they still make games “in the universe.” Now it’s probably the least popular top-budget game. It’ll still sell for a while, but it definitely isn’t as popular as it used to be.
I hope they kill MC off just to spite OP.
