Well Chief will be too busy doing missions to hang plus I don’t see Chief hanging but I would chill with Buck or Locke.
Knocking back a few beers with Buck&Palmer would do it for me. If he’d still be alive i’d include Johnson in there too.

Buck seems my kind of guy though, Johnson as well. A lot of the characters in the Halo universe are quite serious. With good reason. Anyone who’s held their sense of humor even with all that’s happened.
Chips Dubbo or Sergeant Stacker have to take the cake though, having a brew with those two would be great.

See I can’t go about answering this question without asking myself, “Would the character I’d want to hang out with, want to hang out with ME?” LOL And at least among the Spartans, I have to think the only one that might give a civilian piece of scum like me the time of day might be Jorge from Reach. As much as I’d like to meet the Chief, he probably wouldn’t have much to say to me unless I had a mission to run with him.
Lots of other fascinating characters to meet though. Johnson would probably talk to ya. Keyes as well (either one). Maybe Arby? It would be fascinating to pick Halsey’s brain too but I’d be intimidated to speak to her, b/c she’s probably sitting there with her 210 or whatever it is IQ psychoanalyzing everything you say, haha.
It wouldn’t be a Spartan. From reading a lot of the books, they wouldn’t be very fun to be around. Maybe pre-augmentation Buck.
