It’s just that I want to play a good game and at the moment I can’t really get that with H4, so I sit on the Forums trying to get change happening : )

Thankyou chain smokeing bob thats what i want to see form members instead of all these quitting threads. Its like on youtube when one person does it everyone does it. Also what do you think of this Idea for mergeing Halo 4’s features with the classic Halo gameplay. My idea is to basically leave ordinance as is because its essentially a way to present new eqipment into the battlefiled from anywhere but instead of dropping weapons it drops AA’s and only the 3 used in MLG settings so bascially Ordinance becomes like that in all gamemodes that allow it unless otherwise change is needed. Everything else except for running will revert back to the Classic Halo gameplay of starting with AR,magnum starts and no classes. This IMO is the only or best way to get the best of both worlds without completly drawing away from what makes Halo 4 Halo 4 but at the same time makeing it Halo. It can work and Halo 4 can really be fun for all but its not going to get to that point if all we do is write out documentaries on our Halo memories.

The problem is 343 will NEVER dramatically alter ordnance drops. It would be tantamount to admitting that their biggest change to the halo franchise was a huge mistake.

Buddy, if lag wasn’t a problem due to half the players in game being halfway around the world from each other I would be playing it.
Lag is BAD on Halo 3 these days.

Honestly, I think every idea should be heard, because every idea can be refined with other people’s input and any one of many ideas could be taken, tweaked and implemented by 343.
If you’ve got an idea, consider thinking about it, touching it up and posting it in a thread.
Personally, I do think tweaking either ordnance or loadouts might be a good start, a good way to bring a little bit of both worlds to H4 or 5, but it isn’t really my focus area : )

I agree with this to a point. I would rather see it as a playlist, not the entire game.
I think overall Halo 4 will not get back to halo’s roots. Halo 5, depending on what they do, might.
Oh for the love of South Coast Plaza will someone just send over a copy of Forza 4 to 343 and point out the car rating system. It’s basically this, you go in races with a stock car against other stock cars. If you upgrade it to a Race Car you race other Race cars. Branch out people and look at how it works in other games you might find mechanics that can work for Halo Multiplayer issues.

They will dude we just have get the entire community decide on a course of action that benefits the classic and the new, make a post pertaining to it and have all the members like/thank it bascially what we did with the custom games options thing. 343 will change it they already addressed it and theyve already modified it to my settings already in the competative gamemode its been done they just need to take a couple of more steps. It can work but we need everyone to support it we need to work as a community and not factions.

That´s difficult because Halo as a COD community now. They don´t like BLOPS 2 they play Halo 4 and play the same -Yoinking!- way, camo+shotgun camping. We have a plague in Halo community right now and they are the one who keeps say the Halo 4 is GREAT!!! But we all know it´s not. Players who used to play Halo 2, Halo 3 and even Reach they all say Halo 4 sucks. That´s the true 343i can´t see

I myself would be grouped into that section by your standerds I dont camo boltshot myself I us the AR/ magnum / thruster pack combo bu see wat you mean I dont belive Halo 4’s amzing or great but I also dnt belive its incrediablly -Yoink- bad. There are huge blatent issues and other issues as yove said the camo shotgun that can be bypassed thanks to the AA’s. Its basciallylike this man where theres anything positive about halo 4 theres always the negative. In this situation where havingright now theres the camoshotgun prolem with say boltshot or normalshotty i belive. Where theres positives with me being able to counter that and sometimes DMR ( if i have a good team) with just AR’s and thruster pack thers always the negative the fact that people can easily camo bolthshot or the fact that DMR is such problem that it sometimes requires an entire team to counter it. Considerng how havily 343 relies on states as if it were the bible to them and there recent burst in involvment with the community Its impossible for them not to realise this. They may not be bowing to us and pleading for help (thats the image i get inmy mind when someone brings up 343 not declearing to us that they were wrong) but they know it and there feeling it with each decrease in population. I knowthat there has to be up to 1-300,000 people playing it daily though not at the same time ( im being generous) and after the reply from fankie and the recent surplus of actual things the community wants ( you cant deny that they havent given us anything we asked for) its obvious but there not taking the big steps they need to to drasticlly bring fans back or change there minds. It seems like there actully scared of disappointing us to the point that instead of just going all bob the builder can we fix it mode there being very cautios of even the slightest thing focusing on bugs ( some of which ive experienced ) in the first TU instead of balancing and stuff. IDK it could be because I try to look for the good in companies and people ( sometimes i lost it as seen on the forums) but i belive there trying to fix it there jut not moveing fast enough and briging big enough changes.
i do occasionally but i don’t want to constantly deal with Halo 3’s latency Bull–Yoink-. too many times where it looks like I’ve been cheated out of a kill. not to mention the low population on the dlc playlists.
Halo 3’s lag is absolutely ridiculous. It’s a bit harder to find a game than Reach as well. So I play Reach.
The only problem is constant squeakers, but Party Chat was created for a reason.
