Watch the infinite warfare trailer
It’s such a bad blatant ripoff of Halo it hurts. Atleast in Halo 5 343 fixed the multiplayer, and if you don’t like it you can screw around with settings to play like classic Halo. Say what you will about the req system. It’s not supply drops! Let’s be honest, if you’re going to grab that game, it’s probably for COD 4.
So when 343 starts developing Halo 6, I hope to god they build it on previous Halo’s. Because if Exo Jumps ever touch this franchise I will livestream dissolving my Xbox in acid.

I’d hate to be THAT guy, but honestly I’m going to hold you to that last statement
I don’t really see the similarities. It’s not like Halo has a monopoly on sci-fi, nor does CoD really have anything to gain from copying Halo when it’s already in an entirely different league of popularity.
Lol tbh that is the first thing I thought after I watched the trailer… not so much for the new CoD but for the MW1 remake… it going to drain so many ppl away from sooooo many games, including halo. It was a great game in all honesty even tho I dislike CoD with a passion.
I wish it showed some gameplay in that trailer. If they ditched the jetpacks and ridiculous movement abilities, I will officially switch from being a Halo player to a CoD player. I already quit playing Halo 5 because of its “enhanced” movement. I’m looking for something else to play since MCC still struggles to find matches.

On my word.

Halo: Humanity is making great strides in technology, but still has anarchy in its domain. So Dr Halsey starts the spartan program to quell the riots, bu then the covenant attack and spartans are humanity’s last hope. From the iw trailer humanity’s strides in technology have created stronger enhanced soldiers that are associated with a corrupt gov. Out of nowhere aliens attack, and guess what? The enhanced soldiers are humanity’s last hope.
You see my reasoning here?
COD 4: Remastered is still going to make Infinite Warfare sell a crap ton. Maybe Halo 6 should sell with Halo 3 Anniversary… actually no, scratch that idea, that is a horrible idea, making Halo 3 Anniversary a preorder incentive for Halo 6 is a terrible, horrible idea, and I do not want to see that happen ever.

I don’t feel scared for Halo anymore, I mostly just feel pity that this world is going to end not with a bang, but a whimper.
As for the infinite warfare trailer I literally can’t see why some people are comparing this to Halo other than the fact that it is Sci-fi. I’m seeing a bunch of incredibly shallow comments about based on its genre alone. It doesn’t even seem to have any of the thruster/ exo suit nonsense.

Here we go again… from now on anything that is involved with space is a Halo ripoff. That is such nonsense and has no logic to support it. It will still play like a CoD game, which is completely different from the game play of Halo.

Why would that be such a bad idea? Lol, because I was just thinking that, and I think it would do WONDERS!
I feel like the new CoD is basically their version of Reach. Space battles? Check. Surprise assault by a known enemy that wasn’t expected to attack? Check. Military that looks like UNSC? Check. Ship that looks like a pelican? Check. Think we got ourselves something interesting tbh.
