If you don’t like the changes, don’t buy the -Yoink!-ing game. It’s that simple. Not purchasing the game is the biggest form of protest that the consumers can show.
I’m not going to go see a movie in theaters after I saw the trailers, knew that I would have hated it, and then demanded my money back if I hated the movie. I wouldn’t demand that the production crew to be fired from their jobs.
If 343 decides to implement something into the game, such as Sprint or armor that affects gameplay, then so be it. Don’t like it? They don’t have to change the game for you.
Most developers don’t start releasing information on their game until a couple months before the game comes out. We’re lucky that Bungie, 343, and Microsoft is gracious enough to release detailed information about the game this early.
I swear 343 spoiled you people by making the TU changes in Halo: Reach. Now you expect them to heed to your every command.
And I thought the outrage over Mass Effect 3’s ending was ridiculous. This is just plain disgusting and makes me ashamed that I’m a part of this community. I guess things never really change. A rotten community will always be a rotten community.
Since we are 7 months out until shipping, maybe some changes can be made to help improve the final product. If you are posting on the Halo forums, that instantly means you are a fan and means you really want to try to like a product. I (as of right now until I see more) will not be buying the game. What they are doing doesn’t really interest me and I don’t have the budget to spend on too many games.

You sir just said exactly what I was thinking. This community sucks and seems to feel super entitled to how they think the game should be made. Fan feedback is one thing, but when it’s reaching heights of Mass Effect 3 proportion, we have an issue. While 343 would never scrap anything that’s been shown off, as what they are showing is either finished or close to it (this is their method for showing the game), feedback can help tweak things to work better. You people who want full system overhauls, you’re annoying, this is 3 years in the making, I"m pretty sure they’ve thought all of this over.
Allot of people are going to buy the game just because it’s Halo, if they don’t buy it for the multiplayer, they’re still going to buy it for the campaign. It’s Halo, you can’t not love the campaign.

This. I’ve bought every Halo for the campaign and co-op.
I usually don’t find competitve multiplayer fun unless it’s one of our LAN parties.
Now if they implemented bots in custom games, that would probably change my mind.

Most of the people here are just spoiled and self-entitled. Thinking they deserved something because they’ve been with something a long time or because they simply demand it.
I look at these posts and I wonder how most of you guys act in real life.
Most of you guys, though, there are some good people here.

Wrong. Absolutely wrong. While I don’t agree with all the hate being sent towards 343 right now (I’m still looking forward to Halo 4, and will wait till we know more about the changes in MP before I say one way or another if I think it sounds good) people have a perfect right to voice a negative opinion about a product (or in this case things we’re hearing about a still in production product) and to ask for the developer to change it. When people buy their new IPad, IPod, IPhone, etc. they will voice complaints they have with the product. Then the company that makes the product can fix the problem (either in the current generation of the product or in the next model) or they can ignore the customers complaining about the product and hope that there are more people who don’t want it changed than there are that do want it changed.
If the company ignores the problem and enough of their customers found it to be a big problem, they lose customers and possibly go out of business. If they fix the problem, their customers’ loyalty to the company increases because they see that their voice and opinion mattered to the company. I never understand why something that is commonplace in other businesses is looked down on by gamers in the game industry, other than it’s looked down on by gamers who disagree with the complaint.

> Yeah, and you and the other idiots can take the reigns for the next trilogy. Recipe for success right there.
I’m an idiot? Ha! Yet I am not the one being clouded in ignorance, believing I can refer to Call of Duty every time I get a piece of info on the game. Whats next for you, huh? What, guns are too CoD like? Pfft. Ironic how you refer to someone other than your self as an “idiot”.
