Hi 343i!
I know you’re in ‘crunch’ right now, so I’ll keep this brief.
I’ve been a huge Halo fan for 20 years now (you’d be surprised/embarrassed by how much Halo has influenced my life).
Now 32, I’ve met nearly every life goal - became a lawyer, moved to a different country, started my own firm, got married, had kids, published a novel, sailed on a 19th century pirate ship to the north pole.
However, one major goal eludes me: I’ve always wanted to have a voice role in the Halo universe (no matter how small).
If there’s any way we can make this happen, I’d love to learn how! (and seriously - no matter how small the role/recording!!)

If you’re wanting to get into voice acting you’ll need a portfolio, some voice recording demos and smaller companies to give you a chance on this. I don’t have experience with it firsthand, but I know of some people and have seen the process and it takes patience, some work and practice to get into voice recording for a game. Some VAs will have stuff that you can look up online to show the process on how they got into it.
just to be blunt I don’t think 343 would just take anyone out of no where with no history of voice recording. Doesn’t hurt to ask but I’m sure they’ll want some sort of record on the people they pick up.

Completely agree - just figured it doesn’t hurt to ask. I almost became one of the voice option for a GPS navigator back in the 00’s, but don’t have any other experience.
Between my family and business, I don’t have time to start developing a portfolio on the off-chance I can land a role in a specific game.
Just kind of hoping 343i will let a fan record something for a throw-away line somewhere in the game.
