…then you’re either used to the other Halos or you’re just getting plain destroyed in multiplayer.
I for one feel like the aiming in Halo 5 seems extremely solid and satisfying and is a HUGE step-up from Halo 4 which was the -Yoink!- of bullet magnetism.
I know it is the way of the Halo community to complain always about something and especially if they cannot succeed, but the cold hard truth is that the aim just has a high skill-cap and you have to start accepting that.
The game has only been out for almost three days, play more, get used to it and you’ll see it just fine. Its a new game everyone, its not a copy and paste like some “other” franchises.
Agreed

That’s too black and white. I’m doing fine killing people. But something definitely feels off about the aiming.

Uh, I would assume that most of us here are used to other Halo games? I understand where you’re coming from, but this seems like a really strange statement to make.

You’re not used to it. It felt really weird to me too the first few games, but then I got used to it. You will too.
Your aimer isnt supposed to slow down to the same speed at any sensitivity get with it noob.
“HUGE step-up from Halo 4 which was the -Yoink!- of bullet magnetism.”
What if I told you
Halo 3 had stronger bullet magnetism

I find it to be a really logical statement to make since that would make the most sense. This is the first NEW Halo come out in three years and its nothing like the previous Halos which means people are not used to it and their muscle memory is based on the previous Halos.

Not true at all.

What?
My only issue with the aiming isn’t the aiming itself, but the controller dead zone that stops me from snapping at the right moments and costing me in clsoe range engagements; I had to raise my sensitivity in order to compensate and it also effects my performance.

On that I have to agree on, but in my opinion its all about getting used to. Annoying though.
I played the other Halos and this aiming system feels like an improvement to me
no it’s flawed as stated by many others here on the forum.

Exactly how I feel about it, feels really solid and smooth.
It takes some time to getting use too. When I played the Beta, I thought it was perfect. The actual game for some reason feel little different with the look around control.

That’s the first reaction when they don’t succeed. Has always been the case when someone in Halo doesn’t succeed, there always has to be something with the game, that is the main problem instead of themselves.

Youre not very considerate, are you…
It felt odd from the first time i moved my controller in campaign. Most likely more for me because I’m used to playing swat on sensitivity 10, yet it feels really slow.

If it were just a few people, you would be right, but it’s quite more than that, tournament players among them.
Just because people say that there is something off with the aiming doesn’t mean that they are doing bad. More often than not, I still finish with a KDR that I’m used to, but something still seems very weird about the aiming, the system has changed.
I want to be able to turn off aim assist and aim acceleration. The both of those keep messing up my shots when they switch targets.
