343 as the studio behind it. & Sprint
Who then would you have take over?
Bungie lost most of it’s designers over the past few years. Their lead writer, music composer, art director as well as the project lead. I don’t think a studio out there would make exactly the game you’d like. The Bungie that made Halo 3 no longer exists.
I vote AR starts always!
Eh… Probably the troll side of the community, because I can’t really think of an entire feature that would be worth taking out of the game/

Max Hobbermans team Certain Affinity. Max was the brain behind what made Halo 2’s multiplayer so incredible. His direction when it comes to match making is on another level. I love the approach they did for H2A.
That is my answer, Certain Affinity take over the Halo franchise and for the love of Glob hire Marty O’donnell back.

I’d say the ground pound. It’s a cool idea and all, but it never kills anything, and I’d rather have crouch jumping than an attack that doesn’t kill things.
I’d replace Thruster Pack entirely. Probably with something along the lines of Unreal Tournament’s ‘dodge’ mechanic.

I can take that as an acceptable answer.
Sprint
For me it’s a toss up between the stupidly fast kill times and unlimited sprint.

Yeah and Bungie did such a ‘great’ job with Destiny. Most over-hyped and under-whelming game of 2014

Waht?
Halowaypoint community in a nutshell>We want the game to be faster!
343>makes the game faster.

I don’t know anything about the Halo Waypoint community because I only started coming here to post about the beta, I’m judging based off of my experience as an avid veteran on Halo 1,2,3,4 and Reach and I really felt like things started getting iffy around Halo 4 and the things that bothered me about Halo 4 are worse here in the beta so I’m actually voicing my concern while there’s still a chance to fix it.

My point exactly.
The lead writer for the original trilogy Joe Staten works for Microsoft now, though not on any Halo project. Frank O’Connor works for 343 (he was a figurehead) and Marty O’Donnel just got canned from Bungie (composer). We need to move on and stop looking at the past with rose-tinted glasses.
That bloodly flinch when you get shot, that thing is what single-handedly annoys me more than anything about the game and makes me almost not want to play it .
Spartan Abilities.

Everyone’s issues with Halo 4 and Reach were OP AAs and loadouts. Loadouts more so in Halo 4. They cried that the game was too unbalanced. They said they didn’t like AAs or Loadouts. So there are no more. They wanted it to be a copy of the old game while still being new. 343 IS DOING WHAT YOU WANT. They may have stuck a few pointless gimmicks in there, like the ground pound I have never used. I’m a veteran also. I love Halos 1, 2, and 3. Let them be their own games, and let Halos Reach, 4, and 5 be their own. I love all of the games, even though they all have their issues. The older Halos were much slower paced. Halo Reach was all messed up, and they couldn’t do much to fix it without breaking it even more. Halo 4 was REALLY bad at first, but they fixed it. Made sure all the weapons were balanced. Then came the vehicle sandbox issues. Loadouts were the sole reason for those issues. NOW, there are NO loadouts, NO op AAs, NO “perks”, NO PP PG spawns, and for some reason, still no satisfaction from this hypocritical forum community. That, instead of giving constructive feedback, some kind of guidance, just started slandering the developers. The same developers who are trying to make this their game, while at the same time, are still trying to appeal to the veteran players. Do you think they would have done all that they have – removing the AAs and Loadouts – if they weren’t? If they didn’t care? What I’ve seen in the beta has so far proving to me, that even though it may not look like it, they ARE indeed listening.
You have to get weapons off the map now. The community cried for it. We don’t have AAs. The community cried for it. We don’t have loadouts. The community cried for it.
THE COMMUNITY CRIED; THEY LISTENED, AND LIKE GODS, THEY HEEDED THE WORDS OF THEIR PRAYERS.
Players who are better than me. No wait, then there would be only me.
