If you could how would you change HALO 5’s Warzone

Personally I love Warzone and would love to hear some of your guy’s ideas on how this mode can be made even better

Would love for it to be more random. Or have enemy AI RETURN to the bases.

Force all party chats into in game chat.

I would personally make the vehicles feel heavier. In raid on apex 7 if you ride to the left you encounter a small hill and when i drove over it my whole mongoose flipped over. I have done a full 360 in a warthog by just going over a small rock.

I love Warzone. By far the most fun Halo mp mode I have ever played. My ONLY complaint is that the boss battles should go by damage points = team points.

The boss has 150 points.
Team A does 120 points of damage and team A gets 120 points added to the score.
Team B does 30 points of damage and team B gets 30 points added to the score.

This last second kill stealing shot on a boss is ridiculous. Again it is my only complaint with Warzone other than not seeing your fireteam a little easier. 343 listens very well to the community so I am sure this is something they can dial in over time.

I’d add two more 12 man teams. Imagine 4 teams clashing over bosses and capture points. This would of course require bigger maps and may not be technically possible at this point but it would be fun.

Pure fantasy here, but imagine flying a Falcon (UH-144 Falcon | Halo Alpha | Fandom) in Warzone.

This vehicle isn’t in H5 and the Warzone maps aren’t big enough but still…perhaps H6.

I would make it so the points scored from all bosses is split between which team does the damage to it instead of final shot takes all. The person would get the boss kill is the person that put the most amount of damage into it. that way if your team put 75 percent damage into the legendary boss, your team would get 75% of the 150 points and the other team would get the 25%. would make killing the boss in several of the matches I have played a lot more fair.

Ability to deactivate weapon certifications on selected weapons, this is an important point that 343i needs to investigate. The current REQ system is fine with me, it’s not my favorite by a long shot but I can appreciate it’s existence. However, not giving the player any control over customization items they work towards is a massive design flaw that ultimately frustrates players and drives them away. The simple inclusion of an option to choose which weapon certifications I have active would go a long way, and I would really consider adding more player control to the REQ system.

I want a mode that will allow for the use of higher level reqs (7-9) for a longer period of time. Maybe starts match at level 5 and reaches 9 mid-way thru the match. Number one thing I want is more AI randomization. Have the bosses come out at various times and include more enemy AI to watch over the bosses. I don’t want to split the population by creating too many modes but it be nice to have a hardcore mode where the bosses have no displayed health bar, no radar, and the AI spawn near bases and take them back over for neutralization.

  • More maps - More regular bosses - Get rid of boss health bars/hide them - Randomize boss appearances (different bosses every map, every game) - Have AI attack (and possibly capture) player-held bases - Have the losing team gain energy levels faster - Add emergency teleporters to the home base that activate when the enemy team captures every other base (So the losing team doesn’t get endlessly spawn killed and has a chance to reclaim a base) - Buff Scorpions and Wraiths - Change the REQ level costs of a few weapons - Speed up REQ acquisition as a whole, making higher level REQs more useful - Slightly increase the score needed to win - Hide the scores

This would be good and help the game to feel unpredictable rather then bosses spawning on timers.

make it 12/15 minutes long instead of unlimited. whoever has the most points or reaches 1000 score wins.

I want elephants the vehicle not the animal in game as a mobile armory you have to capture and can move to give you a tactic advantage when spawning.

I would also be cool if the longer you held a base it became a little more fortified with turrets, pill box style window to shoot from ect…

I would rather have warzone operate like a classic Halo objective game, but with lots of objectives at once. Make it simultaneously Slayer, CTF, Territories, Bomb, crazy KoTH, and AI opponents, all-at-once, where everything scores points.

I problem I see is, despite these large maps, everyone funnels into a few main areas, and it becomes a chaotic grinding cluster #$#%. By dispersing multiple objectives across the entire maps, players would naturally spread out with only occasional pockets of chaotic clusters.

But even if they did change warzone to fit my desires. I am still not sure I would ever play it, because I simply don’t like vehicles.
