If you could go back to when a Halo was released

Which game would you want to relive all over again?
I wasn’t into shooters for when the hyped up Halo 2 came out, and the early 2000’s in general was such an awesome time to be alive.

I wish i could relive all of them. I dont remember my first playthrough og Halo CE or 2 very well. I wish i could just have a playthrough like back then tho

I’d say Halo 3. I didn’t get to experience the launch or the game in general for a long time.

Overall, I’d say Mario 64. Going from the NES and SNES to the N64 graphics was insane and the game was awesome as well.

I’ve always got the impression that Halo Reach was more talked about and debated than any other Halo game. So it would be fun to go back and be a Halo fan around the time that Halo Reach came out.

But tbh, I don’t really have any nostalgia for Halo (unless you’re willing to count a few years as worthy of being for nostalgia) since I’ve only had an Xbox for a couple years now, and the MCC was the first Halo game I owned.

Halo CE. I used to watch those original commercials with excitement. There was a talk show on one day when I came home from high school where bill gates gave every audience member an Xbox I just thought how lucky they were to being so close to playing Halo CE
-Cheers

The launch of Halo 4 was quite exciting and interesting for me with all the puzzling solving, but I would have to go back and relive the Halo 5 launch. One of the best experiences of my life.

Halo 2 would be my choice.
The hype around it was so awesome.
Then when Halo 2 multiplayer launched it was just something magical that I cannot described

I wish i could relive the launch of reach or reach in general, i had sooooo much fun with reach

I went to midnight release of that and odst and as much as I like those games I wish I had that time back lol

Halo 3.
High school, overall quite a fun time for me.

Definitely Halo 3. If I could’ve gone to the midnight release in New York…damn that’d be so fun. Also, I wouldve been able to buy me a Field of Battle Master Chief statue for WAAAAAAAAY less than what it’s selling for now.

Halo Reach, I didn’t know it was coming out at the time since I wasn’t a Halo fan, but I still played it.

Halo 3 hands down. Halo was at the height of its popularity and I was in high school which was just a fun time in general

I’d go forward in time to Halo 6.

Start it on legendary!

Halo 3’s launch was the most memorable for me. The hype leading up to Halo 3’s launch was insane.
I would love to relive the Iris ARG (I helped open a terminal as part of the Bungie.net group Compound Intelligence) I got a package in the mail from Microsoft with goodies for doing that! Also, relive the Halo 3 Beta. My best friend graduated from high school that year and we were playing the Beta during his graduation party lol.
Then the Midnight Launch. So much hype. It was amazing. I was like 30th in line at my GameStop. As people got their copies they would do drive byes with Halo music blaring, windows down screaming. One group of guys pretended their pickup truck was a warthog. He drove by with his friend in the bed who was holding a 2x4 making LAAG noises. Lol.
None of the other launches matched that. I was like 100th in line at the midnight for H2. Where a guy asked me Halo related questions so he could write a statistics paper for the class he would miss next day which was funny. It was also very cold and they couldn’t form the line in the mall because it was being renovated.
Halo Reach’s launch was the only other midnight I went to. It was memorable because it was the only midnight launch my best friend could attend with me. And we were first in line! It was memorable because When I walked in to have my receipt stamped some guys were having a heated discussion about TES: Oblivion. And I hear “You’re the one who think Spider Dedra are hot.” I was laughing the rest of the night.

Halo Reach was such a fun time!

I would want to experience the Halo 3 launch. I thought there was a lot of hype when Halo 2 came out but when Halo 3 came out the hype was doubled.

Halo 5 release, I was in basic training when it got release and I still had it pre ordered.

I experienced halo 3+ release till Halo 5 so i’m Good on all of those games.
