The sounds from most of the kill effects the only kill effect that should have a sound is Confetti explosion(if they decide to bring it back) as it’s not that loud and its iconic the wolf one is way too loud and gets annoying quickly imo
Can’t believe that in a Halo game that currently includes cat ears I 100% agree with prioritising disabling the kill effect.
The visual I’m not bothered by that much, but please make the sound only apply for the player that applied it or something.
All VFX.
But as I said in my own Cosmetic toggle topic, we just have a toggle for ALL non-canon cosmetics.
The Cat Ears because their immersion breaking
I would disable Ghandi
I’d disable Abe Lincoln. Long reach I guess. Love that movie ![]()
They already have sounds and red X notification on. They had that since Halo 5, but even then, I’m sure the community did pretty well without them.
In my opinion, I don’t necessarily want the kill effects gone, I want them redone. They just don’t look anything worth grinding for. Though I personally put them on for customization purposes.
“Effects”. Armour and Kill effects are so out of place.
All the dark grey armor coatings. I’m sick of them, they keep adding dark grey coatings to the game, sometimes with a tiny bit of color sprinkled in, and they are all ugly. This isn’t my opinion, this is a fact. Anyone that disagrees with me is coping or lying. I will not be answering questions at this time.
Inb4 nukes rain down on your location
(Inb4 someone takes this seriously this is a joke and a reference)
We’ll aren’t you just a bundle of fun to be around,
The post a simple theoretical question.
Not a petition to remove content from that game,
so you can dial back just being spiteful and mean,
and actually answer the question.
I also vote death effects. I hate to be celebrated, because I died.
Kill effects are extremely unnecessary. Extra particles for an already-exhausted engine to generate, and you only see it for a split second.
If I could just choose to not see them? Great, wonderful. If not, whatever.
