For me it would be the gloves and the 3rd color for the armor

Gasp The kevlar-puzzleboard of color that is the Halo 5 gloves bothers you too!?
And the forced white/blue lines are one of the most random, irritating, customization limiting, design ruining choices I’ve ever seen.
I’d change the campaign to fit the ads, because they looked so cool.
Sorry, double post.
I’d change the battle rifle and DMR into a single weapon that was more well thought out and not the meta.

Yea they bother me…

What do you mean by that
I would love to be able to take a bath or shower. Cause you know water is the Achilles helm of a Spartan. You wouldn’t believe how lovely I smell after all these years. I just wanna bottle it…
But really on same page making legs and chest pieces separate. Or arms something
I would.make the aiming exactly as it was in the beta. Their fixes have done nothing, and even they know it. Literally nothing else can compare to having terrible aiming.

The Battle Rifle is far too competent. What we need is a weapon that combines the BR and DMR into a single weapon, and completely discards both. I say that as somebody who really loves his DMR and despises the BR with a burning passion. A compromise must be reached, for 343i decided that, despite Bungie’s protests in ODST and Reach, that the Battle Rifle *must return no matter what.*I disagree.
They wanted to appeal to both BR and DMR fans, but the overlap is ridiculous and the BR is simply better, and far too easy to use. It has 36 chances to get a headshot, and is capable of doing just that with perfect circumstances. All with hipfire. For a community that values precision weaponry and skill, the beloved Battle Rifle is the antithesis of what the Halo community claims to love.
It is and always has been the meta weapon, for it allows the greatest margin of error and greatest reward. There is however, a way to fix this.
This is what I call the *Service Rifle.*24 round magazine, two modes of fire. Two round burst, semi-automatic. You still get the twelve-squeeze we’ve been accustomed to since CE with the Magnum and 2 with the BR, but in an all new form. The gimmick here however, is that the Service Rifle, or SR for short, fires twelve two round bursts capable of a Headshot Multiplier rather than headshot kill shots, when fired without aiming.
When aiming, the weapon is switched to Semi-Automatic and has the ability to headshot kill instead.
What this does is mix the BR and DMR into a single weapon, and it rewards precision, while being a generally more precise weapon with far less room for error when one considers it fires one less round per squeeze. This is a gun that is not as punishing as say, a sniper rifle, but demands similar precision.
The Burst function is what you’d use most of the time, but the single fire is what you use when hitting people from much further than you usually would. You’re not, and cannot, really reliably use the other in either opposing situation.
The Battle Rifle’s problem is that it’s just so easy to kill with it. It should not be the standard, it does not reward skill the way people think it does. A meta is almost always defined by what’s the most efficient solution to the problem, and in a first person shooter, that’s usually what weapon has the widest margin of error while still providing kill efficiency.
This goes hand in hand with my belief that the Assault Rifle absolutely does not need the headshot bonus when hipfired, but when aimed it should have a three round burst with a multiplier, rather than a kill.
We no longer live in a world of Binary damage values. We have…
Base / Multiplier / Kill
The primary weapons should cover this, but the Service Rifle should cover the last two, while the AR (variant discussed that I call the Combat Rifle) should cover the first two. I have an extremely long post about what I think needs to be done the UNSC standard weapon’s sandbox that defines this stuff a little better, if you guys want to see it.
Change the atrocious campaign and make it follow the ads and Halo 4.
I’d get rid of Brian Reed as the writer. His style doesn’t fit Halo.

I like the idea, kind of like a UNSC Halo 4 Lightrifle.

Well… Technically it’s closer to the original Battle Rifle pre release of Halo 2, and much closer to the SPV3 Battle Rifle, but with 33% of the ammo taken away so you can’t just abuse the ever loving crap out of the large stock of ammunition.
Glad you guys like it though.
I would remove the ADS style zoom animation and buffs on the weapons. Then use the old zoom style with updated graphics (think something like Ironman/Terminator when they zoom in on an enemy)
I would change the toxic community.
Radar distance in multiplayer!!!
