I thought most of halo infinites music was good. But if I could choose one soundtrack from a previous halo game to make a return it would be Halo CE under cover by night.

Rising Legacy from Spartan Assault.
I’m rather fond of the ODST soundtrack though it doesn’t really fit Infinite.
I have never actually thought about Spartan Assault having an original soundtrack. Not sure why. I’m going to listen to it now.

It’s got some real bangers and it’s only 1 hr long, so it’s great for doing work.
Legacy, Bridge Too Far, Prelude, Onslaught, and Finish the Fight, are some of the best one imo.
It’s a shame SA is so obscure, I think a lot of fans were robbed of hearing such a good soundtrack.

I liked Assault and Strike quite a bit, but once I got all of the achievements I never touched them again.
I should give them another look.

i really loved the music of halo reachs ost, from the beginning to the end love it all, but i think if 343 want to use that style of music they should also pay attention to how its used. i dont want them just throwing in reachs ost or the composer of it just to get the fans excited, i want music that really sounds like it was made to capture what’s going on in game.
im going to be 100% honest, to me infinites ost just sounds like a lot of old reused halo music, so much so i feel it shouldn’t even be called an “Original” soundtrack. im sorry if it sounds like i have nothing but salt for infinite, it just gives me very little reason to like any of it.

I understand where your coming from. I Think infinite proberbly feels more reused because it was inteded as a spiritual reboot to the franchise.

I feel like to bring back any cool stuff from Halo 3 or Reach’s soundtrack, Infinite would have to have set pieces and campaign moments worthy of that kind of epic vibe.
Blow me away from Halo 2.

The reach soundtrack was such a banger.
Halo 2 anniversary does look great but every time I enter the arbiters sanctum I go classic mode soley for that part of the game.
They really need to let us change the music classic for that.
