If you buy Halo 4, you're part of a growing problem.

ASSUMING 343 DOESN’T MAKE TOO MANY CHANGES AND JUST SHIPS THE GAME AS AN AA-RIDDEN, UNLOCK-BASED PIECE OF TRASH…

Everyone who buys Halo 4 will be contributing to a growing problem in the gaming industry. You are showing developers that they can put 0 effort into a game, and you’ll still bend over and take it because the word Halo is printed across the box. From what we know so far, MW2 is to MW3 in the same way that Reach is to Halo 4. The exact same thing with different weapons and maps.

Deny it all you want, but NOTHING new or innovative was shown in the trailer. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. You guys who are excited have pretty much no reason to be. You’ve seen ALL of this before. But if you’ve seen all of this before, why are you so thrilled with this game? Because the word Halo is written on the box, that’s why.

Look at this company. They actually ADMITTED to copying CoD in hopes of putting their own spin on that game’s original features. This sounds like an honest company to you? This is something you agree with? Taking features from other games in an attempt to outsell that game is the lowest of all lows, especially when it’s a feature your community UNANIMOUSLY hates. It just goes to show though, that 343 isn’t about making games at all. They’re all about the money. Just like every other game developer out there now, thanks to the kinds of people who will actually get on their knees for 343 and buy this abomination of a Halo game.

By purchasing Halo 4, you are showing developers that you have no problem with them brushing their true fans aside to make room for the “average gamer” in an attempt to make more money. If you are even the slightest bit disappointed, don’t be a sheep and force yourself to buy Halo 4.

Don’t attempt to induce guilt in those of us who disagree (and quite vehemently, in my case) with your opinion that 343 has put “zero effort” into this game. And as for brushing aside the “true fans”; I have played Halo since 2001, when the first game was released, so what exactly does that make me?

It isn’t often that I make such blatant accusations, but you are truly an idiot. ya just shutup and go play cod then

Okay, I’m exactly on the Halo 4 choo-choo train yet…But this is a little far.

We don’t know if the perk and unlock system will be exactly like CoD or not. They might have something really original up their sleeves. We just don’t know yet. Sure, it doesn’t LOOK good, but we still don’t KNOW.

Being skeptical is okay. This is not.

OK don’t buy it. It just increases my chances of getting it on the first day.

Dude calm down. Just wait for either the bulletin or tommorrow for beter explanations.

one trailer and you already have pulled out your jump to conclusions mat?

The game already looks better than Reach, and 343 is smart enough to give us options to tweak it like they did with Reach. It’s too early to judge Perks at this point though. The fact that the game looks good, the BR is back, and bloom is gone is already an amazing starting point.

pre-orders Halo 4 anyway

doesn’t lose a second of sleep because Op’s just a drama queen

I like everyone else was very excited to hear and see some new info on halo 4. I was hoping that they would go back to its roots and not continue with the gimmicks introduced in reach but it seems that 343 doesn’t get it. Perks, random weapon spawns and a call of duty progression system are not what Halo is about. theres a reason why reach is practically dead and not embraced by the competitive community. 343 needs to go back to what made halo 2 and 3 so great and popular years after release. bring back the 1-50 ranking system its what always encouraged players like myself to go back and play the game years after release. they’re trying to cater too much to the bad and casual gamers instead of hardcore halo fans. If theres no beta i’m not buying this. plain and simple.

So my options are stick with aging games and be a “true” fan or buy the new game and be a sellout? Really?

Guess I’m a sellout then…who’s with me?

Please, I don’t mean to be rude, but shut up. Seriously.

I’m buying Halo 4 for the music, the plot, the community, customization, and gameplay, as well as multiplayer.

Yeah I’m getting Halo 4 anyway.

This. I’m going to remain optimistic until there’s a really solid reason not to.

You are being ridiculous, zero effort into a game? Rubbish, you’ve seen nothing of the game yet, a mere few seconds of gameplay and you are acting like you know everything that they are going to do with multiplayer, the incredible campaign they are going to deliver, and major changes to forge and firefight. You are far too quick to judge. Play the game first, then say if they put zero effort in

I love every halo game (even reach, odst and wars) , I doubt they are going to go majorly wrong here

I will admit that I didnt see anything too fantastic in the trailer but you do realize that the trailer didnt show anything right? It gave a SMALL glimpse at two maps and a up-close look at the default armor, thats it. In case you didnt notice they were also using only one weapon, the BR. So dont rage on a first look, wait until they show more before you start making yourself look like an idiot

I am!!

I’m getting it first day, deal with it.

yes because everything you say is fact…

/sarcasm

everyone is intitled to there opinion, and just because i like something that you dont doesnt make me any less of a halo fans then you, and it certanly doesnt make me an issue, get over it and learn the real facts.

pro tip, never judge a game before playing it.

Something you don’t like =/= No effort put into the game
