If/When Firefight does drop into Halo Infinite... should we have playlist with Loadouts?

Players that were apprehensive about the new team would’ve had little issue had the studio respected the IP they were entrusted with. But thanks to game magazines and trailers, players were able to see the drastic change in art style and music design; which sowed seeds of skepticism. It is highly likely why Halo 4’s playercount dropped by half in just the span of 8 days as the skeptics found that their unease was justified.

Not really.
Halo 4 peaked at around 410k players online.
Currently we only have the steam charts in terms of player statistics, but on Steam alone it peaked at 256,619 players online.
Considering that most of the fanbase is on consoles, it can be reasonably assumed that Halo Infinite had a player count well over that of Halo 4.
But a year later they are roughly at around the same spot in terms of player counts, as Halo 4 a year later had only roughly 10k players online on day 365.
Meanwhile on the Steam Charts it was 3,937 online. Add in the Xbox Numbers and we will also likely be at roughly 10k online.

A very unfortunate truth of Halo Infinite.
The game engine’s newest overhaul was incomplete and the networking needs a lot of patchwork.
I like to compare Halo Infinite to being a very polished Alpha-Build that was launched.
Hopefully it can be updated and reworked here and there to be redeemable, like Fallout New Vegas or Anthem.
