Since BLOOM is being lowered/taken out and the pistol itself is becoming very powerful then a few weapons become extremely powerful, not by pure power but with the fact aiming will be less restricted as it was before. Which leads to a problem, if the DMR, Needle rifle and Pistol hit everything everytime then killtimes are cut. “But DUde that’s good, Why complain” well people I’m not. However doesn’t this mean Halo Reach will become more “Shoot first, Kill first”. Which is one thing that we should strive away from.
So instead of making players stronger, making weapons weaker or updating all these things then why not do this. Make shields/health recharge faster. Players will still die the same speed however if a good player can get to cover they wont have to camp or be a sitting duck. "yet wouldn’t this lead to camping" Not really, People being afraid to get pistoled to death will camp just as much. This just gives players time to heal while they are getting shot half way across the map.

1-Make the A.R better
2-I’m still a strong supported all weapons should have headshot bonuses
3-Wraiths should be stronger then scorpions (if not already)
4-Banshees should only have lock on heavy vehicles and flying vehicles (Wraith, Scorpion, Banshee, Falcon)
5-Falcons should have side seats
6-Plasma should have Halo:CE damage/stun
7-Automatic guns SHOULD have an edge at close quarters. Not saying they should always win but think of it this way

DMR vs Assault Rifle
Well AR has an advantage. However a good DMR player can still win with good tactics. Even if not it has a slight chance
(At Mid/Long Range)
DMR vs AR
Assault rifle is -BLAMED-. It has no chance of even touching the DMR guy.
So with that being said at close range the A.R/Plasma Rifle/Repeater/Spiker do deserve an advantage. More so with the Plasma and Spiker weapons (since they are WAY TO WEAK)
