If he did take off his helmet and we see his face,do you think it would impact the game at all or do you think it’s better to never know his face.

Why should we see his face?

Maybe that we’ll get to see it at the end of halo 6 XD
unless there will be a new fight to finish (again)

I’d rather not see his face. For me the helmet and voice are the only characterisation he needs. He’s instantly recognisable with those two factors but giving him a face would take away a lot of what makes John work as a playable character IMO.

maybe something like in the head hunter’s animated comic. the elite with the helmet gets shot in the face, and the visor cracks so you can just see it’s eye. i think that would have more impact, especially at the end of halo 6!

They’ve been showing bits of his face for a while now; they might as well show it in one of these games.

Being mysterious is what makes him so interesting to play as a character.

I found my self after all these years, attached to chief because of who and how he is. Show his face and give him more dialouge could ruin that attachment i have develpoed with him. In a video game character sorta way…
