Dude I play ranked controller I swear people before the match starts switches to KBM… pretty impossible for someone to do a 360 in .01ms
i have a much better option I play MCC where i can do both
this is the #1 reason i dont play warzone
MCC already has this feature and even server select…every Halo player should be in MCC until they can bring Infinite up to it’s level in features.
That is sheer dumbness.
I agree on the control input. I use computer/steam, but also use a elite controller, and I feel that a lot of those who use the computer are cheating, because there is no actual anti-cheat software. Work on the anti-cheat, and I’ll be fine with this situation. However, don’t be like a few others and try to make it a kernel 0 anti-cheat. With your inability to code correctly, I don’t want any of your coding that deep in my system.
343i bring back open lobbies & open communication.
I’ve put a lot of thought into this and here’s what I’ve come up with.
Something something twenty year muscle memory something inclusive gameplay something some people just prefer Mouse something something jus play Mouse if it’s so good.
Something something console game something something PC audience and console audience are separate mindsets of game design something something controller preferences something something something terrible knuckle joints prevent reliable keystrokes for myself in particular something something something daaaarrrrk siiiiidddeee.

The people who are dunking on you are overwhelmingly on controller lol. If you did get input restrictions you’d all just move to the next excuse.
It’s weird we don’t get input selection because if you have played MCC you know that quite a few playlists lock off players using the opposite input. How hard can it be really?
Not true.
The Controller input is confined by how fast the game allows you to adjust your X-&-Y Axis Sensitivity and Aim Acceleration.
Most of the people slaughtering in Tactical Slayer and the Tactical Ops mode are using M&K.
The Evidence?
The fact that their character is able to suddenly spin and turn as if they have spin-bot cheats but they are still able to miss a shot or two instead of having 100% accuracy. Controller players cannot spin around at Mach 7 due to how they are restricted in Camera Sensitivity and Aim Acceleration.
It becomes even more apparent when you see someone slide and all of a sudden there is no in-between animation from when they are sliding their character and when they are suddenly facing 90-degrees or more to the side.
Have you ever cranked the sens and acceleration to max? You can get as fast as a mouse but it’s like you’re using a trackball mouse. There’s also the disadvantage of look acceleration - for a mouse it really depends on how fast you can flick your arm/wrist. I’d have to double check but I’m pretty sure the majority of pro CS:GO/Valorant players tend to use medium to low sensitivity because they can swing there arms if they need to suddenly shift views. On the other hand controllers have the interval of time between switching directions where the look acceleration deactivates. You can get as fast with a mouse but certainly not the same type of mobility.
You’re right about M&K players being able to flick their view. I would interject there’s also the networking element to consider. 343’s net code seems less than stellar so baked into this problem is how the game constructs and conveys reality to Players based on the sequence of events it received. I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m saying how the server resolves events and the current state of the net code contributes to a jagged visual experience.
i like to have better a option to turn crossplay off in general more then a option to play with the same input more.
this maybe will fix the M&K vs controler discusion for good.
but i see there make it more general and make it more a option to turn off the crossplay you cant play between platforms then input.
Nice lie dude.
My sensitivity is maximum. And it is slower than my sensitivity on R6 Siege which lets you REALLY let loose with how fast you can spin and aim. And yet still with how my sensitivity is on Siege, I see the PC players moving more smoothly at higher speeds.
I’m making the assumption most mouse players don’t use anywhere near their max DPI. If you want to talk about edge cases than a mouse user could crank their product’s DPI and game settings to max. If anyone decides to play with those settings please record it post it to youtube. There might be some freaks of nature with the wrist control of seven brain surgeons - or certainly a bot - who can play at those settings but it’s absurd to think the average M&K player maxes out their DPI.
I can see how the average M&K player will have a quicker flick but quick flick != kill (Unless it’s tac slayer and they have good cross-hair placement/aim)
That only works if the game itself allows it.
That’s because you can clearly tell when some turd is cheating. Plus they’re always from the pc side.
