I am excited and a little worried about Infinite, if the trailer does not give everyone what they wanted about the campaign and most importantly, ”The best multiplayer experience ever made”. I know a lot of people are going to still complain about the graphics and the small details in the campaign, compared to last year’s E3 and go off about how little the trailer gave us for this year’s E3. I could be wrong or I could be right, honestly I would not be surprise if it was both.
I’m not worried to be honest. I’m getting it either way because I love Halo and because I’m tired of Call of Duty being the main competitive game on the market.
Personally, I’m not worried too much about it however I do worry that some people may be holding Infinite up on a unreachable pedestal to a point where expectations can never be met and in turn setting themselves up for disappointment.
Im very excited for Infinite, I can’t wait to see it. I can’t wait to play it. I’m as excited as everyone here but I think I’ve been doing a good job at tempering expectations appropriately.
I’m quite excited for E3 and I definitely think that Halo Infinite needs to make a strong impression at the event after the “controversial” showing last year. However I do think that some people are expecting the game to be at some ridiculous level of fidelity and what not.
There’ll definitely be improvements- as we’ve seen from Inside Infinite’s and such. I’m excited to see what 343i bring to the show. Not too long to wait now I guess.
I’m sure Infinite is going to be a fantastic game and I’ll love it just as fondly as I do the other games, if not more.
I’ve said this many times in the past but I do feel as if no matter what 343i do there will be people who don’t like parts of the game or the entire thing because it’s not the Halo they wanted or had imagined in their head. Which is fine by all means but they’re also a very loud part of the community even though they may not be that large of a percentage in the community.
For me, I think it’s best to just enjoy the game at a personal level and ignore the negativity the media and some people want to put into the games perception. End of the day we’re all here to experience it for ourselves
