Seeing as we saw a bit of his face at the end of Halo 4, I’m almost certain that in Halo 5 or Halo 6 they will show his entire face. If they do this, I’m sure some will be happy with the way he looks, and others will be very dissapointed. To prevent this, I think that players should have the option to design the way his face looks when they get the game. Like how in Mass Effect you can change the face of your character. According to the story of the Halo Universe,Master Chief is a middle aged man with brown hair. To keep it canon, those restrictions on character design should be set, but everything else should be customizable. It would be like customizing spartan armour, except alot more specific with the face. Like in Skyrim’s character create. This way in cutscene(s) when they do show his face (seeing as all Halo cutscenes are rendered in game except of Halo 4’s opening and epilogue, and there won’t be a need for CGI cutscenes anymore as XboxOne in game graphics SHOULD look as good as CGI), we won’t be dissapointed and he can look exactly how we want him to look.
All I know is that if they do reveal his face, and it’s not customizable, alot of people will be dissapointed, and alot of people will be cool with it. But the overall reception will be very mixed opposed to mostly positive.
His eyes were enough, I think it was distressful enough just seeing that part of him.
Bungie always said to the public that they will never show Chief’s face, here come 343 and on their first game they just couldn’t wait! His mask is iconic, I don’t think it would be wise to take it off at all.
EDIT: Also what’s the point of having his face revealed when you already know what it looks like? Kind of a killjoy for suspense if you ask me. Sorry I’m not feeling it at all.

It’s not my choice, I’m just saying that I’m pretty sure that we will see his full face as we already saw his eyes and the skin surrounding them.
Wasn’t his face somewhat altered from the change he went through from the Librarian though? With the thought of that in our mind, if his face was to be revealed he would still look humanoid just not quite human.
EDIT: Side note. I was just going off of what I seen from his eyes.

I never said I wanted them to show his face, just that they probably will. My views on them showing his face are neutral, but to prevent the fanbase from going bananas it would be safe if they made his face customizable to the player when they do show it (75% sure they will show it in Halo 6).

He was givin a mutation to make him immune to being composed, but that mutation was most likely an internal genetic mutation that didn’t affect his physical apperance but it’s not for sure.

Why would it be Halo 6? Remember they are now turning this into a saga instead of a trilogy.

Saga cause it will have spin off games, like maybe “Halo 4: ODST” and even “Halo: Spartan Assualt” is part of the saga. But the Saga is revolved aroud the three MAIN games that will be released: Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo 6. It’s still a trillogy, but now a saga due to the spin offs. Halo 7, if ever made, will NOT be included in the Reclaimer Saga. It will be the start of a new one.
343i’s reign over Halo lasts 10 years before they have to renew it (probably will). This first 10 years is known as the Reclaimer Saga, and the main Halo games released in it are Halo 4, Halo 5, and Halo 6. The other games will not be MAIN Halo games. Just like in the Covenant Saga that was made by Bungie.

Or would you find it possible that they have Reach cop out. Where he is being over ran his helmet fails, and he throws it off and we watch him get killed. Still never getting the full face reveal.

The reason for showing his eyes was for symbolizing that he’s a human being and not some military machine, they’re probably not going to show it ever again. If they were to show his face (which I think they won’t) it would probably look like the way it was described in the novels.
Edit: Would anyone be fine if they just showed the back of his head like they did in the Halo 3 posters?

He’s almost always in battle, and without his helmet, he’s dead as soon as he fights. if he isn’t fighting, he’s in some bizarre climate that requires the warmth of the helmet or protection from sand. When he doesn’t require any protection from the elements, he’s in space. Why the heck should 343i go through all the trouble of face creation, just for the 5-10 minutes that we’ll even see his face?

Absolutely correct. No need to really discuss this further, but it is for the sake of discussion, and it is fun.
But they should reveal his face at the end of Halo “6” because i am sure by that time Master Chief will have become as relatable as an actual human being with depth and character.
Maybe in some dramatic scene where it gets knocked off or something lol
