Be honest if 343 asked us fans would we rather have true next gen aka series X exclusive or tied down to current gen what would’ve been your answer. Hear me out its clear this game doesn’t even hold a candle to most ps4 games graphically thats a fact. Not to mention because of OG xbone the cpu end of this game will be underwhelming aka ai, amount of enemies etc.
So since that is the case why would they “build the halo platform” for the next 10 years tied to OG xbone specs… Everyone wants next gen games I was expecting this game to blow me away not only graphics wise but mechanically as well. Yet everything shown was standerd halo fair nothing wowed me or anyone about the gameplay they brought back equipment… They still have sprint which is unnecessary imo if they boosted movement speed and saved a button press it would have the same effect without hindering gun/game-play.
If I could get them to delay the game I would but not only that i’d have them resend their idea about having the halo platform be tied to this gen. Not to mention everyones nervous concern about this game possibly being rated T listen we live in an age where everyone plays gta5 regardless of age and everyone is gunna hop on the cyberpunk train as well both games features way more crazy mature themes than just blood. Halo fans shouldn’t have to worry about if we can paint the floors with gallons of alien blood like the earlier iterations.
Dear Microsoft and 343i please consider taking a huge L and redo this whole situation regarding Halo. Fans are not happy and all the potential consumers/players are not impressed. I don’t know how your expecting to steal players away from games and existing communities with what you’ve shown and @Microsoft if you think Gamepass is going to succeed with what you’ve shown across the board your mistaken. Gamepass isn’t the Netflix of games its more like blockbuster bargin ben games and I as well as others I know will for the first time since ps2 era be getting a PlayStation console before xbox.
