Shouldn’t be released on launch either, but maybe just a nostalgia map pack or something.
Personally, I just want all new maps, but if I have to play the same maps, at least spread them out in a way that makes sense.
Edit: took out halo 1 maps because anniversary already took care of that.
CEA didn’t get all the Halo 1 maps. Rat Race and Sidewinder need some love (Avalanche was a disgrace to Sidewinder). Also there’s a couple of PC maps that deserve more exposure, like Death Island and Danger Canyon.
And there are some Reach maps I wouldn’t mind coming back in the future. Anchor 9 and Highlands are good maps.

I think having Halo 1, 2 and Halo 3 maps in any of the future games is fine. They’ve done remakes of maps in all the past games.
I’d like new maps too but I don’t mind remakes. I wasn’t a big fan of all the forge maps in Reach though. Sure forge gives tons of maps but they all looked very similar aesthetically.
Would have liked to see an actual remake of Sanctuary rather than a simple forge remake.
we don’t need remakes. if you wanna play the old maps just play the old games. since Halo 2 the series has been littered with remakes and they never live up to the originals anyway so why bother? besides reach, i have always enjoyed the new maps the most with each new game. I think that 343i shouldn’t waste their time trying to figure out how to make old maps work for a new game and just invest their time into thinking up and creating great maps that are designed for the new game.
Small symmetrical maps most likley wont work in halo 4 because of AAs so most halo ce and halo 2 maps are out of the picture.
Nope. No more remakes. It is the start of a trilogy. 343 need to make their own classic maps which will be remade in their later games.
I know its hard people, but we have to let go of the security blanket, that is Halo 1, 2 and 3.
