If the UNSC Infinity ever blows up...

If the UNSC Infinity ever blows up in any of the future Halo games, I hope the mission it happens in is similar to the mission the Maw in Halo CE, where you have the warthog run. However, it wouldn’t have to be the same as the Maw mission from Halo CE. There could maybe be other vehicles you could use instead of a warthog or other challenges that require you to go on foot or solve puzzles (How to get past a door; finding a way up an elevator shaft).

I’m not saying this is going to happen, but if it ever does, I think it would be sweet if they pay homage to the last level of Halo CE. I’m curious on what opinions you guys have on this idea.

Edit: Here is gameplay of the Warthog run from Halo CE on the level the Maw if anyone is curious of what level I was talking about.

Maybe in one of the last Halo games.

But yes, this would be awesome!

If it played out like the Final Level of CE when you blow up the Autumn, I think it’d be cool to be able to go through out the whole ship and have to get to certain places, put bombs in certain parts of it and stuff, perhaps the Flood have invaded the ship and they need to destroy it. I imagine if this took place in Halo 6 or 7 or whenever chiefs story ends, if he had Cortana back, she’d say;

“Well this feels familiar, doesn’t it?”

lol. That would be awesome!

That, or maybe they could use the ship to blow up another forerunner installation.

Maybe it blew up and it’s falling from space and about to crash into a halo ring or something, and you drive the warthog to the back and onto the top of the ship and drive it into a pelican of a giant ramp (something between the maw and halo 3’s warthog run). I think we need more warthog runs in halo.

That would be awesome, plus then we could have a spartan flood form :3

Actually… I’m hoping that the Infinity shows up at Sanghelios to help out the Arbiter and the elite rebel faction manages to blow it out of orbit.

At something just short of a cubic mile of titanium plating it would wreak untold havoc on the elites and make for some interesting interplanetary repercussions. Not to mention a beautiful cinematic.

The UNSC Infinity better not detonate anytime soon… It’s the reason why any of the Storm aren’t assaulting Earth. They’re too scared.

I want Infinity to get overran by the Flood…

Installation 07 my friends…

PROCESS:

Since Infinity’s mission has been to locate the remaining Halo Rings and study them for decommission, perhaps Infinity locates Installation 07 and bites off a little more than it can chew.

That would make for an interesting Spartan Ops Season 2 if we ever get one, wouldn’t it?

Hence why they managed an all-out invasion of the ship that nearly resulted in it’s destruction. If one ship is keeping the Covenant Remnant at bay, that’s a bad thing. They aren’t scared of it, they just aren’t stupid.

Or it may be that the elites are fragmented and their economy is shattered. Maybe its that the Storm Covenant only have a tiny fraction of the elite’s military potential at their disposal… for now.

That didn’t work out to well for them the first time

Hey, it only takes one imitation mac cannon round to blow a ship from the sky.

Not anymore…

As was the Dawn and several Covenant vessels.

That would be sweet! It would be like a mixture of what happened to High Charity in Halo 2 and of course the Maw from Halo CE.
