Yikes.
Having the weapon emblem, vehicle emblem, armour emblem and nameplate emblem as a reward in each of the separate weeks for 4 weeks of challenges is shocking behaviour.
I’ve been vehemently defending a lot of decisions, but if this is true it’s just such a poor implementation of the free weekly item. Players are spending 10+ hours playing every week to unlock a token item.
This is your breaking point? Not the butchering of cosmetics and horrendous battle pass/progression.
Couple that with the fact that there are no Armor pieces at all to be unlocked buy playing the paid campaign, and it’s pretty hard to call 343 generous.
Or turning core playlists into timed events and not even having Slayer at release LOL
That’s fine with me tbh.
This week’s reward is a shader for a weapon. That makes me very happy, because I can ignore the MP for a whole week and play the campaign without missing anything worthwhile.
