Terminator doesn’t even have space tech. Covenant can glass the planet from orbit, so not even T-1000 can survive from that. Bringing Forerunner would be overkill.

but they dont feel pain and will fight with no libs and have hydrogen fuel cells plus all the worlds nukes so if they fought n earth the terminators would Rape

How would they do that? There are no nukes in the terminator arsenal that can go into space. No faction in the Haloverse would even have to step foot on the planet. They could just attack from orbit. And the hydrogen fuel cells would be more of a negative than a positive. If one of those cells gets in the path of a glassing they’d explode from the heat.

They would have sats and space shuttlesfor raiding

You can’t be serious. Space shuttles? Like the ones NASA uses? They would never get out of the atmosphere. The tech levels are so completely different. The tracking systems that they have in Halo are literally 500 years ahead of the Terminator Universe. Any launch from the Earth would get destroyed before it even got close. Not to mention the UNSC has much more powerful nukes then what was available in 2018. They could just nuke the planet from space. Covenant glass one side, UNSC nuke the other. Game over

Have you read Cryptum? Forerunner ground force is capable of cracking a continent.
Single Covenant cruiser can tank several nukes. It takes several MAC cannon shots to take out shield. And a single Forerunner dreadnaught could take out many of those Covenant cruisers single-handedly.
The Resistance beat Skynet.
Anyone here think two major interstellar empires will do worse than a rag-tag band of guerrillas?
Show of hands???
Ah, thought not…
Come on dude, use some common sense.
Here’s the only advantages the Terminators have:
-Numbers: Since they are machines. They can mass produce units.
-Strength: Since they are machines they can have super organic strength.
-They are machines:
-No sleep.
-No food.
-No drink.
-No breath.
-T-1000s.
-Time travel.
-They can make Terminators that look like the enemy.
-They Flood wouldn’t be able to take over them.
-The Halo Array wouldn’t affect them.
But the Halo universe would still rape them. They have a lot more advantages. They only thing they don’t have is time travel, and T-1000s.
> Here’s the only advantages the Terminators have:
Lets compare with John Connor’s Resistance:
Terminators:
> -Numbers: Since they are machines. They can mass produce units.
> -Strength: Since they are machines they can have super organic strength.
> -They are machines:
> -No sleep.
> -No food.
> -No drink.
> -No breath.
> -T-1000s.
> -Time travel. [Fin: of dubious actual utility, seems to create an alternate timeline with each use]
> -They can make Terminators that look like the enemy.
> -They Flood wouldn’t be able to take over them.
> -The Halo Array wouldn’t affect them.
Resistance:
-Numbers: Very low, scattered survivour groups in a post-nuclear wasteland.
-Strength: Combat Irrelevant. If you fight Terminators in melee you are doing it wrong.
-They are meatbags:
-Need sleep.
-Need food. (hard to grow in setting, needs to be grown in secret too to avoid reprisals of the ICBM kind.)
-Need clean water to drink.
-Need relatively non-toxic air to breathe.
-John Connor, tactician and favourite of good old Lady Luck.
-Time travel nicked off skynet, dubiously useful.
-The Flood would be able to take over them in about 3.4 seconds per individual.
-The Halo Array would affect them, but is ultimately irrelevant.
-Primarily armed with guns stolen from Skynet units, and old or improvised weapons.
-Zero air superiority units.
-Zero effective heavy armour units.
-Primary vehicle support is armed technicals.
Dispite all the above, the resistance wins, hence why Skynet tries to kill John Connor in the past. Because he is kicking it’s shiney titanium teeth in in the ‘future’.
I can do a similar run down for UNSC/Covenant, but I don’t see the need…
The biggest thing is the terminators only have any kind of “advantage” on the ground. And again they got beat by the human resistance. Haloverse woud never need to go to the ground. The Flood is un-needed, and seemingly useless. UNSC and Covenant can stay in orbit and destroy the planet. Covenant plasma weapons would melt terminator metal. Covenant have shielding on their ships, terminators don’t.
Honestly it was a poorly thought up vs thread, seeing as the capabilities of the terminators aren’t even close to Halo.
Haha these threads are great. I still choose Halo over Terminator, though
Disruption bomb!
FYI people the flood can control machines.
Even on the ground they wouldn’t stand a chance. The machines, if I remember correctly (I’ve never been a big Terminator fan) don’t have shields, correct?
Put a Spartan or Elite in front of them with Halo-era weapons and it’d be pretty even. Give them a couple Scorpions/Wraiths, and it’d be pretty one sided in favor of the Haloverse.
And, as been stated, take them into space, and the UNSC/Covenant wouldn’t even need to touch down in order to win.
There’s just no contest. The Termiverse’s weaponry and tech just doesn’t match up.
Hell, I just thought- just have one of our smart AIs hack them and shut them down.
i think they did have shields
No shields in the first two movies anyway, I kinda lost interest in the rebooted terminator movies/series so I can’t comment on those, they may have shields there.
Anyway, faction vs faction there isn’t a single Halo faction that would fail to destroy skynet. If we were to compare ground unit vs ground unit it might be more interesting, but heaven forbid we get an actually thought out vs scenario on the go…
Giant Austrian robot vs Future Cyborg?
I would pay good money to see that.
If it was a ground war who would win?
MAC > Terminators
