Palmer made the wrong move when she shot halsey, it must of been hard for some of the SPARTAN-II’s to see Halsey when she was arested, but shooting her might shake up the SPARTAN-II’s relation ship with palmer or maby the SPARTAN-IV’s all together.
I doubt anything will ever come from it.
Depends. You still have to take into consideration that fact that Halsey’s been provoking the termination order pretty much ever since she got to the ship.
Communicating with an unknown entity even after it is revealed to be a human-hating alien warlord, sabotaging the ship’s AI, then very nearly escaping in a Pelican to meet said alien. What could the IIs do? “You tried to kill someone who knows basically everything about humanity, is willing to aid genocidal aliens in the pursuit of knowledge, and is now in the hands of the aliens. How dare you!”

Well if they were to find out that she went for Halsey instead of said genocidal alien warlord…
Also, who said she was willing to aid Jul? She seemed to just use him to access the Shrine of the Librarian.

Her mission was specifically to kill Halsey. Jul would have been a bonus, but then the Knights attacked and she took the only shot she could. Halsey is arguably a more dangerous target in the hands of the Elites, anyway.
As for her aiding the enemy, we know she wouldn’t really, but they don’t. Well, Osman might, but we all know she just wants Halsey gone.

So two Episode or so ago she was expertly headshotting Knights while dual-wielding but this time she couldn’t do it? Jul’s a much bigger target and dropping him would’ve dropped Halsey.

Well Lasky seemed to get it.

Your fan made scripts dont mean anything in the halo universe they are fake and have nothing to do with 343I, so please dont use them to to answer other people’s threads.
I’ve never understood why people see Spartan-IIs as vengeful. I’ve never seen them this way. In fact, it quite goes directly against what my impressions of Spartans are.

I don’t see them as vengeful either…but Halsey is still a pretty touchy spot for them. We saw how they reacted when Halsey was arrested.

He was using logic, not his scripts.
If Halsey was assassinated by ONI the Spartan IIs wouldn’t act out against them. They’d be furious, that’s understandable, but the Spartan IIs are the most loyal soldiers humanity has ever seen. They’d most likely hide away their feelings, much the same way they do when they lose a fellow Spartan.

Yeah, they’d be upset. That said, if it came down to it they would kill Halsey…but they’d probably sooner kill Jul and retrieve Halsey if the chance presented itself.
They would do nothing, as Spartan-IIs have always followed chain of command. The only instance of insubordination that I can recall is Chief disobaying Del Rio… to prevent the extinction of humanity.

Okay now I’m confused…when did I do such a thing? I don’t even have a sequence in my scripts where Plamer shoots Halsey and the Spartans learn about it.
So yeah…someone is going to have to enlighten me here.
He assumed that the links in your sig were a part of your reply.

True, but I doubt that they would go on the killing sprees some people love to imagine, especially if Palmer’s involved.
I suppose if Palmer was ever questioned on the matter, she would stick with, “I was trying to shoot Jul.” Unless someone was recording, they would only have her word to go on.
I don’t think any attention will be paid to it story-wise, but I guess it would hurt to have your commander shoot your ‘mom’.
I don’t think they would do anything.

His scripts have nothing to do with this? Nor did he imply that. Why you were even thanked for that post is mind bottling .

What did they do?

Kelly defended Halsey and argued she wasn’t kidnapped but the other Spartans said or did nothing.
