Take it easy. There is this thing called the campaign. Back in my day, we didn’t have xbox live, we played splitscreen campaign.

back in my day if a game developer shipped a game before it was finished there was no way to patch their -blam-. They just shipped it completed

Unfortunately, campaign doesn’t work well at all. Audio is bad, some lines loop endlessly, some cutscenes are buggy and have characters that don’t say anything. So the campaign is hardly any better at this moment.
whoa! calm down. Everyone is frustrated but no need to burn the planet! D:

Games were much simpler back then though. These days it takes full teams to get them done unlike the past a few people could make a game title and ship it.

Want to know something funny though? I’m assuming you’re talking about back in teh day of cartridge gaming… so there were no multiplayer factors so there were no issues like this to be had. I’d love to see you take 4 games, 1 that’s 13 years, one that’s 10, another that’s 7, and one that’s 3 years old. Get them into a unified UI, completely revamp one of them, and then get them to work on new day technology. Without any problems at all.
All while being the first game you’ve developed for this new console. So please, go on about how older day games would ship while being complete. The game itself works, servers are a bit screwy, and additional features like Achievements are buggy. But again, being their first XB1 game it’s not that big of an issue. If you’re too impatient for them to figure out what is going on and then to fix it (mind you, we’re dealing with 4 different games and structure so it’s not as easy as pressing a button to fix it) then go back to Call of Duty, or games from “your day” that “shipped when it was finished”
To all the little girls whining, why don’t you whine about something that’s actually worth whining over. Like the silly mistakes like “1th” or in BTB claiming to be 16-player but only look for 12. Lol.
I was finding games at a decent pace this evening.
