We should get an ODST style hud in the sense of a map and data that is found on the way.But I do not think you should get the map right away for certain levels so you would have to find it like the audio logs had to be found.The Campaign could have different open areas that lead to missions.So it would work in chapters, chapter 1 could be on Infinity and would have missions found from throught the chapter. I think ODST did a lot right in campaign that could be greatly improved on next gen.
But that makes no sense?
We have a perfectly good menu that eliminates the need for any of that extra work.
Halo 5 should not be open-world like Halo: ODST. It should be like every single main Halo game before it with a linear path and open areas connecting between points of interest. Halo: ODST was a spin-off game that delivered it’s own unique niche gameplay components in the Halo universe and it was not meant to be expanded upon in future games.
