If the aim is fixed by launch game can be great

It has potential to be great with the H5 movement and the H3/Reach gunplay. H2 TTK H3 equipment pick ups and H3/H2 art style and maps like behemoth. Problem is the wonky aim is having the same problem H5 had which is very far from great which also probably akin to the weapon balancing issues across the board and respected weapon roles with in the sandbox …considering this was a technical test I’m hoping things can get ironed out to have that buttery smooth aim of H3/H2 again and then we can all say it’s great cuz right now it ain’t… also if this was intentionally done so PC players could have an advantage not sure if it was… but just implying that if it’s not a mistake but rather intentional. Which I also don’t understand because the inputs/crossplay seem quite even to me on MCC or maybe I could be wrong idk but anyway I’ll be jumping ship and playing MCC for eternity because I will not be going through another halo 5 type of aiming system ever again period…. Because the aim in that game is terrible and one of the worst in the series and that’s a fact…. And I am someone who almost mastered the pistol in that game and it’s still has terrible aim mechanics and always will have…Rant over.

The weird aiming is definitely holding me back from enjoying the game. It should be as close as possible to previous games with default settings. We shouldn’t have to learn in-depth about deadzones and acceleration, just to endlessly tinker with the settings and never really find the sweet spot that previous Halo games have, for the most part, always had. I mean Halo 5’s aiming feels great compared to Infinite. I’m playing with a controller on Xbox One S, and in Infinite I turned all the deadzone settings to 0, acceleration up to 5, and bumped the vertical sensitivity up ahout 2 or so above the horizontal setting. That’s as close as I can get it to feeling normal, but it’s still off. I can play Halo 5 on default settings and aiming feels night and day better, let alone how much better previous games have felt. I really hope this issue gets addressed and fixed before launch. The aiming isn’t necessarily game-breaking bad, but it’s not how a top-tier shooter should feel.

Yea at the moment I’ll say H5 aims better which isn’t saying much because I don’t like the aim in that game but you’re right it’s needs to be fixed before launch. For me personally and others it’s game breaking…
