If someone dies in Halo 5, who do you expect it to be?
Now, who do you WANT it to be?
Obviously there is a lot of speculation about ‘Chief’ dying, which honestly I don’t think is going to happen.
I think it’ll be Arbiter. I also WANT it to be Arbiter.
There is still Halsey, Fero, anyone on the Team Osiris, Blue Team, or the leaders, Chief, Locke, and even Oni command.
What are your thoughts?

My gut is actually telling me that it may be Fred. I however think that if they where to kill one of blue team it would create a large enough impact to make you mourn their death and as for a character I want to die, I really don’t want anyone to die but I feel like halo 5 is a game about loss, cortana, blue team etc.
Who in their right mind would want the Arbiter to die? Are you mad?!

He should have died GAMES ago. He will more than likely die in this one, and I’ve been calling it for mooooonths.

Well, I don’t have a huge issue with her, but she’s the last person on my list of favorite people in the game. I just am not a fan and wouldn’t mind if she turned to dust in the wind.

And why is that? Games ago you say? He’s only been in two Halo games and he was the only hope for peace between the elites and humans at the end of the war. If not for the Arbiter, then what would the Halo universe look like right now? It wouldn’t be too exciting considering the elites would have glassed the planet while leaving.

Games ago, means he should have died in Halo 2. That’s Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and 4. He should have died GAMES ago.

Fred is my favorite member of Blue Team, and he is voiced by Travis Wiillingham (Roy Mustang) I would cry for days if he died.

I don’t think you’re grasping the concept here. I’m saying that GAMES AGO, as in as a way of using time frame. I never said he was IN those games. Games are the time reference here dude. You need to stop trying to start an argument over every little thing, and read before you comment.
What if somebody in Blue team dies and gets replaced with Buck near the end of the game
Heck maybe half of the 8 spartans are killed and in the end we are left with a rag tag group of 4 spartans like i dunno Chief,Buck,Kelly,Tanaka?
Something crazy like that but I doubt it would be too insane!

I feel like if someone has to die it should be arbiter, he’s beloved by fans and would definitely illicit a reaction. More over he’s the biggest proponent of the human sangheili alliance, so without him there tensions could rise again. Assuming that Juls days are numbered, which is a safe bet and his covenant remnant are given a significant defeat, if not outright destroyed it would give an in universe reason for still having plenty of elites to fight in the forthcoming games due to the political fallout of his death. I also feel like he’s served his purpose far more than any other character, lasky and palmer feel like main stays and osiris for the most part has just been introduced and blue team deserve more than one game before they die.

As much as I hate to say this, it might be Arby. Lots of people love him, and he’s been around for quite a while.
I don’t really want anyone to die.
They did say by the end, the Halo Universe will never be the same again. I take that more so that some major event occurs, but for all we know some character could die. Though I doubt it, there’s the possibility of Master Chief dying. If I had to guess, I think it’s more possible that either Halsey or Thel is going to die
