LOVE being a beta tester for not only the game, but for the over priced store as well. Keep pooping on us for wishing they’d reimburse us after 343 gets done telling us we over paid in the first month and a half for red and gold.

It’s a skin, color, or effect. Not a physical good. There is no rarity or rhyme or reason to why one skin costs more than another, the only ‘rarity’ is how often 343 decides to put it up in the shop.
ALL prices in the shop are arbitrary because of this fact. Telling players they are morons for buying it in the first place?

Imagine telling people they’re entitled and they are stupid for purchasing a skin in a game at retail price, company tells you the prices are too high and will be adjusted (month and a half after release), early customers suggesting a way the company might make those early customers feel a bit better about their purchase, and then getting reamed, insulted, degraded by players that wouldn’t even BE AFFECTED IF ANY FORM OF REIMBURSEMENT WAS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION AND MADE REAL.

But this was also before we learned that those original skins will come back at full price, if they do rotate thru the shop again. They say to protect the integrity of the original purchasers price. But I think it’s really to get more people to pay $20 for them.
I just. We all want the game to be good guys. We WANT to like 343. Looking for ways to get them into players good graces should not be met with whatever the heck this thread became.

It’s just frustrating, like if you read my posts in this thread people should be able to atleast understand the sentiment without jumping to the ‘buy toaster for $50, go on sale for $30 week later, where $20’ conclusion.
I think it’s dirty tactics that 343 started the shop with the prices as they were, and now I think it’s dirty that they made the shop items cheaper but all that expensive content, if it comes back, will still be the same price and not the new price, to “protect the integrity of the OG purchaser”. To me, they could’ve given those purchasers the difference- could - or they could have made them cheaper with no reimbursement, or they could just sell them again at a premium price. I think they chose the worst option out of the 3.
Warframe, PoE, League, warframe, premium currencies, good PR. Like seeing other companies do it let’s me know it’s possible.
“Hey 343, players love X company, you should try what they did!”
This is where some people just don’t read the thread, items haven’t gone on sale, they were “lowered” in price forever (at least for the foreseeable future)
The shop itself is one big dirty tactic.
The fact that the only way to get any real customization is if you pay pretty much shows their true colors
