I don’t have buyer’s remorse, lol, how many times do I have to say this?
I just believe it’d be smart to reimburse the difference if those items do change in price as a show of good will. the ONLY argument against it is spite!

Let’s recap.
KCD0DGER made a poor financial decision that came around to bite her in the posterior. In December of 2021, she made a forum post to ask 343 Industries for reimbursement with in-game currency should the prices be lowered. She later clarified that she doesn’t feel entitled to reimbursement, but would view it as a nice gesture from the developers to the community.
…And this is still an issue to you guys a month later?
THE EXACT QUOTE:
"Never said I was entitled. Thanks for using the right pronouns btw.
I’m just saying it’d be a pretty cool gesture on 343i’s part.
Never once believed I was owed it, just think it’d be a nice thing for them to do for future customer loyalty/retention/show of good will towards the community. They add a few digits to people who paid too much, for no cost, we get some extra cosmetics and they gain the invaluable “Customer who appreciates the gesture and may spend more here as a result” thing.
It’s just good business."
Quick addendum: I don’t regret it and it hasn’t really bitten me in the back…! I just, if things change, would like a “Hey, here’s something back for that, our mistake” - and only in the form of store credit, not even a real refund.
But yes.
Somehow this is still a problem. People are coming on here and making a LOT of assumptions.
Why do you think there is ANY difference between the two?
Oh my God hahahaha!
it makes sense now. They are one of these people that thinks capitalism is bad when it is literally the only system of progress and fairness that gives power to the consumer. We just haven’t had capitalism since 1913. We have a government that robs us blind and squander our wealth. That is not capitalism.
I hope you understand that politicians are basically stocks you can buy at this point, and our system reflects that.
That is tyranny. Governments allow businesses to become monopolies by stifling capitalism. They hinder the free market and make it harder for us consumers. A lot of people often confuse our current system with capitalism but as previously stated we have not had actual capitalism since 1913 when the illegal taxation of income became common. Before that it only happened briefly under Lincoln, which the Supreme Court later ruled was unconstitutional, because income taxation is theft by definition.
You are so close to the answer, EW. So, so close. We live under a susceptible, crony driven system. Corporations run rampant, their CEOs purchasing politicians. Calling the shots. Funding campaigns so that they may own seats in the senate.
You are very, very close to understanding.
You just agreed with me… Government is precisely why these CEOs grow so large because Government prevents competition. These companies would never have this ability without Government help.
You just said: Governments prevent competition and stifle corporate growth, which is why CEOs of corporations grow. Companies/CEOs would not have this ability without government assistance.
I hope you really meant to say this cyclic nothing. Take out one part and you have the truth.
Yet again another government issue that could be completely more unfair if under another form of economy.
lmao literally caused by this type of economy
I mean, it’s more the economy being manipulated but go off I guess
This post honestly made no since and misquoted me. Governments help a select few companies stay impossibly large. That would NEVER happen in free market capitalism. The little person would DESTROY them with cheaper prices and higher quality goods. Unfortunately, government makes it nearly impossible to start your own business these days.
lol that’s sort of exactly my point
Hahahahahahahahaha.
Issue lies within government power instead
yeahno that’s not how it works
This whole thread has really gone off the rails
It has. So to bring it back.
Should the prices change… It’d be nice if we got the difference back.
Did you know Master Chief Collection is only $60? Bungie owes me for Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST and Reach. Spent $60 each on then plus more for map packs etc. They owe me a good $300 in reimbursement with the OP’s logic.
