But that will never be the case. If you bought a Series X already, someday there will be a price drop and now your $500 won’t have gone as far as mine since I waited to buy it for $400. It happens all the time and they should not be expected to offer anyone anything more than the product they are selling at the current selling price.

No, I’m also not about to read 650+ messages when it seems pretty cut a dry. Spend your money the way you want, when you want, but don’t be upset when prices change. They don’t owe you a thing, and only sets them up for disaster everytime they want to modify a price.
