If prices are adjusted: Reimburse us the difference in Credits

Nope. If you thought it was overpriced, you shouldn’t have bought it. If they give you the money back you got more value out of it than people who didn’t buy it and now maybe have to wait weeks or months for it to come back. And in that time you can still wear/use stuff you bought in the store, while they have to wait. That is rewarding the people who caved and punishing people who didn’t.

Nova. They said this in the multiplayer reveal trailer.

What we have ourselves here is a classic case of an apologist for mediocrity, and anti-consumer practices. I think shill is a strong word.

If there were more morons that bought overpriced stuff then the store prices wouldn’t be lowering. So no you can’t get reimbursed and you should thank the rest of us for actually having self control and forcing them to reassess their prices.

Nowhere in the linked articles or videos did 343 state that the millions of options would be available day 1, or 2 months after launch? Unless I am mistaken?

PREACH BROTHER! THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT NEEDS TO BE HEARD! Honestly this deserves a double like, and it’s own topic.

Dude, you’re jumping the gun.

I’m all for better practices but we’ve got to do it right if we want people to take us seriously.

Let’s not go all in on random people

You are straight up grasping at straws now my man.

Forgive me. “I’m very passionate about Halo.”

You are mistaken. When they say something like having millions of option available, you expect that to be true for launch.

Otherwise, it’s not true. They neglected to clarify the timeframe of these options arriving which pissed people off.

They wanted campaign sales to be strong so they neglected to tell us avout the multi.

I mean doesn’t it not make sense? What they need to do now is finish working on this game.

I mean if they’re going to reduce the overall price of things based on rarity (which is what I’m assuming they’re doing) then it would make sense to refund the difference in credits to people who already bought things. I certainly wouldn’t mind finding some extra credits in my account.

Presumably the next time a bundle I bought shows up in the store, the prices will be lower to match the new pricing system. If that’s the case, I’d definitely want some kind of credits added to my account.

Wasn’t it always advertised as a live service game though after the F2P announcement? By it’s nature you don’t get 100% of the content day 1.

It’s like buying something at a store a day or two before that item goes on sale, you can’t go into the store afterwards and ask they give you reimbursement for the item going going on sale because as a consumer you agreed to the previous price. The same concept applies here, if someone agreed to the stupid prices in the current store that’s on the consumer.

Technically they didn’t lie, there are millions of possible combinations available, for free at launch.

They just didn’t clarify that that statement was expressed as an exponential rather than a number of selections.

The question is do you remember when they announced that it was F2P? It was more recent in the development history. In fact closer to the launch than the announcement of the game.

Why did I know you would also defend that? Dude they lied, and it wasn’t even a little white lie either. They were deliberately misleading.

This would be a better burn if I could have afforded college lmao, but sadly it’s room temperature.

I appreciate it, but I keep the genuinely close information tucked close. I’ve shared nothing that isn’t readily accessible, don’t worry. But I do appreciate the concern!

Frankly I want credits to get other stuff I want. No refund, no exclusive item, just credits. I’m easy to please…!

Yes! YOU get it!!

For someone who wants to walk the walk about monetary value, you sure can’t talk the talk when someone values cosmetics at 130 dollars, can you?

Like I said. The pursuit of money for money’s sake is the most pure evil in this world. Money must be FOR something, not money for money.

Yeah it’s WILD.

So is there a punisher skull on your truck? lmao.

I like you. You’ve got teeth.

I hope you know that if you really believe this, then once they added Credit gain for playing, you should be arguing them to give you actual money/payment instead, if credits have real value.

Wulf really be like, “Every night… I feel the ghost bills in my wallet… The dignity I’ve lost… But armor I’ve bought…”

Right as you may be, 343i’s doubling back. It’s just good business to reimburse the difference.

Honestly, don’t try with Wulf, they’re far gone.

They can’t, nobody EVER said that. Millions of options refers to the customization options considered as a whole, combined on your spartan. People aren’t sharp enough to catch that when they say this? They mean every possible combination - and as it stands yeah right now even, it’s at least 100k.

If they do this I’m just going to cap off the thread with a post that’s just laughing at all the “You DESERVE to suffer” posts.

For someone who takes business, your comprehension of marketing is DREADFUL…

Firstly, an explanation is not a defense. I distinctly noted that it was a lack of clarification on their part.

Second, didn’t we already wrap things up? Yet here you are again with these unwarranted callow jabs.
