none of this is going to matter, because they’ve already alluded to fixing all these issues in the first place
Almost every other battle pass system allows for in game alternative routes to paying for cosmetics, either by slowly grinding a different sort of payment currency (gold instead of diamonds in MTGA for example). So not adding one in will be silly.
I have not seen or heard them say anything about granting credits besides paying for them.
How can they fix what ain’t broke. It’s definitely not broken if they are seeing the financial goals are met. This is the intended system. All those other games have their systems, infinite has it’s own system.
Only time will tell if they’re making enough money or not. Every game I’ve played has halo reach armor or something store bought or campaign related. At least I see more paid players than not, in my experience playing online.
You know sometimes I have more fun in these forums than I do actually playing the games!
In the end I want everyone to enjoy halo as much as I have. So to each their own problems, may the force be with you, live long and prosper, and uh you shall not pass!
I am unhappy, but I do not regret doing it. That’s the thing.
You’d be surprised, typically it’s pretty good, but there’s the OCCASIONAL THING that just gets me. I didn’t lose 70 on Keto by having poor control.
You can participate in something and acknowledge its problems. Like that comic?
“We should improve society somewhat.”
“Yet you participate in society. Curious! I am very intelligent.”
Well at least we agree on always wanting free stuff and I appreciate you gendering me correctly, some here still aren’t.
lol why do you care about the game more than someone’s employment? That’s really weird.
You said you really want your pieces, now twice.
Then replied with no, and ended with “but I’m not happy with it”.
That’s leaning more towards doing it again reluctantly than not doing it again, in my book because I’ve heard the same reasonings before in other circumstances with that conclusion, that nothing would change.
Congratulations on making a completely irrelevant comment on my person.
If you want we could trade snarky comments with each other but that’s not productive, as it derails the discussion.
So I can buy 10 000 Premium, buy items worth 4000 and ask for a refund on those two items? Potentially get a refund, and that’d be partially hinging on laws?
Really? What’s the future in pencil pushing? A promotion to cabinet filer?
I’d rather have the game evolve so that more people can be employed in the fields of video games, not financial reimbursement field practices
Is that what you want the next halo to play like? A virtual tutorial on how to properly reimburse your customers in the accordance of the statutes of section 5b through 7f?
Edit: Sorry I got that wrong, sections 502/4V28 through sections 25/4b/Sierra 117
I had a friend manipulate it back to back on for honor to get free stuff, I didn’t condone it, but I guess it’s karma for ruining the game anyways.
Im mad at both parties for different reasons.
Anyone who was crazy enough to spend that type of money and support the insane prices get what you got. Yet a month and later you want to get reimbursed the difference if and when they choose to correct the price? That, my friend is laughable. Let alone even more stupid on 343/Microsoft to do it. Prices are ALWAYS higher when something new comes out. Prices then tend to fall over time. Does that mean everyone should get reimbursed for everything they buy when prices drop? No. Not going to happen. You are free to spend money as you see fit. You clearly thought it was a good idea to spend it. Deal with it. Don’t expect a refund. No one deserves to get anything back from 343i because they spent money.
As a side note, I have read from someone who says their father works for 343i. Said that they plan on changing pricing and how credits happen after the initial hype starts dropping and after the holidays. But until then they want to collect as much money as they can. I honestly hope this is true. I think it needs fixed in several ways. I also want to laugh at those who CHOSE to spend money to support this craziness instead of waiting until it gets fixed. Or just boycotting it, hopefully forcing it to change.

LOL shut up liberal, it doesn’t make it right.
It’s still stealing
ugh… a certain site you linked…
First and foremost, employees have already been paid for whatever work they’ve done on whatever is getting released.
Second, there are already plenty of examples where companies have laid off employees, not because a product didn’t do well enough, but because it’s a fast and efficient way of bolstering larger revenue number, making shareholders happier and stocks go up. That has nothing to do with gamers or the quality of the product.
Third and last, best way to improve job security is to boycott and with that boycott put in “demands”. Because job security involves more than just getting fired or keeping the job.
Hitting them where it hurts is a sure-way of getting changes done.
PS:
Putting money towards the game is making sure developers have employment.
Spending time and energy on getting refunds, reimbursements and so forth is money that goes towards non-developers who handle those service-desk items.
I didn’t lol.
It is always morally correct to take the rug from under corporations.
also no, lmao, I won’t shut up.
So here’s the thing, I KNEW all that? I KNOW, all that. But at the end of the day, people should not look at a desk job and think, “Worthless”. That’s still somebody’s job - and in today’s era of financial strife that’s a lot more important.
I want to support 343, but I’m not doing so by spending $8 for the color blue. Or $10 for a battle pass just so I can actually wear the armor I’d have to spend $20 on to get.
They better figure this out.
Whenever something is free the consumer is the product. They work on us, not the game itself.
I think a human’s energy is worth more than sitting at a desk pushing pencils all day. Sorry I actually want humans to evolve and step out of the cave and discover fire
We wouldn’t have any “financial strife” if we’d get up from our desk jobs and do something about it! How much is going to advance if we all sit around counting peanuts?
I say we get off our assess and do something if we think theirs a problem. Not cry poor little me and play the victim of the society that we claim to be about of. It’s all in our heads and if we wake up maybe we can see that the universe is trying to tell us something. Maybe that we aren’t so different from it and there’s nothing we can do to escape who we really are
Typically you simply get a full refund for the 10,000 you bought. However you still would end up keeping the cosmetics you purchased with the premium currency too. Therefore it never a guarantee that you will get a refund when you ask for it.
I appreciate you gendering me correctly, some here still aren’t.
I’m simple like that. I see a female avatar and use female pronouns
I think the MK V B isn’t same armor from Reach. It looks similar, but it’s gen 3.
Either way, Microsoft signs contracts with employees to “not keep them forever”. Just look at bungie, their contract ended. It’s a whole business thing so I guess they don’t become liable for whatever nonsense goes on in the business world

Well, thank you.

Then start leading protests I guess!

MK V [B] is the platform of armor, and the base helmet, MK V [B], is not what I want to use. The MK V used in Reach that you unlock later, is what I’m aiming for. It is not currently enabled, but is definitely in the game on bots. As for the MK VII’s MK V [Z], that’s what we’re going to get a shot at when the Tactical event comes out.
