If people don't like infinity slayer...

then why does it in total with both playlists get ten to fifteen thousand people. And I know legendary slayer has it’s problems but still is among those playlists that are only in the hundreds. Isn’t that what everyone wanted?

Because most of the people that don’t like it stopped playing the game all together.

Because the truth of the matter is most people do prefer infinity, like me

Most who still play, maybe.

While the other 90% of the population left.

I’ve made myself a handy copy-pasta.

As for why people aren’t returning because Legendary Slayer is back, they probably don’t know or don’t care at this point.

I wasn’t too thrilled about Anniversary Reach. Playing on four maps, where only a handful ever get voted for, isn’t much of an incentive.

Well, that and the forums don’t repirsent the global population of the Halo series in itself.

> Because most of the people that don’t like it stopped playing the game all together.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Because people aren’t willing to come back and try it, shame they may enjoy it

> Because most of the people that don’t like it stopped playing the game all together.

This.

I was wondering the same thing as the OP yesterday, and I came to this conclusion soon afterward. If Legendary Slayer was out at launch, I’m sure more people would be playing it right now.

The reason is because most players are casual, and will ALWAYS just pick default settings slayer. That’s the way it worked in every single Halo game. Team Slayer and Big Team Battle have been the most popular playlists since the dawn of Halo matchmaking. Even in Reach when they added Super Slayer, which was Team Slayer with the Title Update, it wasn’t nearly as popular. And everyone can admit the TU was MUCH better in Reach than vanilla.

> Because people aren’t willing to come back and try it, shame they may enjoy it

Agreed. Or they come back playing with a already negative mindset and thus makes the game less enjoyable. People need to not be al stubborn, I for one love playing 4. It’s got way more weapons and abilities than 3, yes, but I’ve become accustomed to it and find myself playing daily.

I’m 100% sure that if you ask this 90% of population a question like “do you have any opinion on descoping”, 99% would answer with “wtf is descoping?”. Do not overjudge those who are not here. Only those who are matters.

Most of the people who stuck with Halo 4 are the people who enjoy Infinity Slayer.

Problem is there is 15k that play Infinity cuz they like it or its just the easiest to play and find a match in. Probably has the best ranked matchups too because the most to pick from…when if we had a classic Halo game instead of Infinity, I could see the number in default slayer being at least 2-3 times that much, if not more.

That’s what 343i probably thought when they putted Pro in there. Each voting before each match shows how mistaken they were.

I think people who quit should maybe come back, try Legendary Slayer or whatever and see if they enjoy it. My friends stopped playing in April I asked them to try the new stuff and if they don’t like it they don’t have to come back, they love Legendary Slayer, BTS and even enjoy Infinity Slayer, you’ll never know unless you try

Words of the wise.

They probably traded in their game once they stopped playing. Quite of few people that I know did.

Infinity Slayer makes me gag… I will only be in Legendary Slayer from now on. I just wish it had a secondary pistol, and a BR/DMR/LR start for voting options. Just thinking about the dam Jet pack makes me want to hit something.

Infinity Slayer wouldn’t bother me so much if the AA’s had to be earned, and the POD’s were nerfed so NO POWER WEAPONS would drop at the players feet. Then 343 could fix the dang despawning time of weapons.

The infinity settings is not what makes those playlists popular. Big team battle and team slayer/social slayer have always had the highest populations in all online halo games, so it is to be expected that the successors to those playlists (Infinity Slayer, Big team infinity slayer) would have the highest populations.
