If ODST had mp like all the other games it would’ve been better, without taking it to the COD status. The silenced smg was the truth, what do you all think?

yeah it would have made some interesting gameplay.
Stil wish Firefight had matchmaking.
I do miss those two weapons
The rapid-fire Magnum and perhaps the SMG would make for some pretty campy matches. Especially without shields.
The maps would be fantastic, though!
If ODST had multiplayer and forge that’s all I would play, hint hint 343, ODST 2 with MM??

You know what would be awesome? Emerging from an Orbital drop pod at the very start of match.
This is how I see things:

Stamina is like but not exact to shielding, so health does regenerate to a degree. I do love health packs

Headshots are instantaneous death and explosives are deadlier due to stamina being extra susceptible to said explosives.
Between Halo3’s SWAT: Duals and Reach’s SWAT, not much change, if any on already had gameplay. Though not many like 'nades in their SWAT. -
You speak of en-crouching on CoD territory but you don’t even realise how close ODST’s form of gunplay is to Battlefield’s.

You do realise you can make nearly such a game in H4 with Forge and Custom Game settings right? Give it a try with the Suppressor and Magnum as starting weapons. You can then place the boomstick, sniper and rocks around. You can use the Needler, PP and Carbine like normal. The SR could replace the PR, the Scattershot really does mimic a Mauler in power and RoF, just not looks or melee boost. Jump height reduction with no shields with 125% damage resistance should be good non?
If there was a halo 3 odst mp it would be similar to cod (health wise and the silenced smg). It would be interesting to play.

In my opinion ODST multiplayer should be a more “stealthy” invasion. I’m not a fan of the same faction fighting each other, so it would be cool to have an ODST squad up against a team of elites.
If they did, they should take risks and make a new game with multi-player with things like Phenotype and Sooszur said to make the game more original and just to try something out.
Developers that make AAA titles never take risks… So I will not expect much if they do make a sequel to the title.

I’ve already made a custom gametype. I just need more people to play with and an opportunity to experience it on Matchmaking 
It’d honestly be the only game I would play. No joke.
