If no players are found, why not expand the search

i want to play warzone assault, because it’s the fastest way to get req points, but no one plays it in Australia, so I can’t.

why not just make if not enough players were found, expand the search to the closest servers that has enough players, I would rather have a high ping than not be able to play… And warzone assault isn’t spammed with vehicles as much as warzone… Why won’t you let me play warzone assault 343, WHY???

I don’t know how all these servers work but I’m in The Netherlands and can find games within seconds. Literally.

Also from Australia, I haven’t been able to find a game of Free For All for about 4 weeks!
Unless I search with a friend or two, it takes 3 attempts to find a game of Breakout.
I’m not that bad/good of a player, somewhere in the middle. Matchmaking should be able to find something… nothing.
I’m yet to play a game of Warzone Assault. After about the 12th attempt I stopped trying. This was in the first few weeks of launch.
Infection should be population heavy when it launches, looking forward to it.

servers are region locked, so I can only play with Australians, and there ain’t much

I agree… in the uk I never get a match in the morning for anything but for warzone.

I live in Russia and i can find games at night, but in the morning i have to wait VERY long to find someone (with big difference in ranks). I really like “expand the search” idea!

Man that sucks for you guys. 343 really need to step up their game.

But wait, I hear Americans in my ears all the time. So what’s that about?

Hey there peoples
I can share your pain, after the first couple of weeks they shut down the NZ servers and just shoved us in the Aussie servers, and even then, I can barely find games half the time of course depending what time of day, sure it’s easy to find a game in slayer, swat and warzone (not assault) but everything else takes forever, i keep getting timed out and search again, after an hour of trying to find a match I give up, Breakout alone i’ve played literally 4 matches this whole month, you can’t tell me the Halo community in Aussie and NZ combined is that small, there has to be thousands of us.
