Okay, so for all of you kids hating on the Elites or whining that you’ve seen them three times too much. I want you to realize if their are no elites or covenant races in Halo 4 then their will be NO COVY WEAPONS, examples are:
-the banshee
-the ghost
-wraith
-revenant
-needler
-gravity hammer… (NO MORE GRIFBALL)
-energy sword
-carbine rifle/ needle rifle
-plasma pistol
-plasma rifle
-fuel rod gun
-brute shot/ concussion rifle
-and many others (these are just off the top of my head)
I really want to see the elites in halo 4, i don’t care if they are in campaign. And they don’t even have to play a major role. I just want my fair share of wort’s. I also hope it is optional to play as an elite in any game mode. Yes, I am a traitor to the UNSC… a Elite Sympathizer. Many people who read this will argue and say the elites have no reason being in Halo 4, but what this shows me is a lack of trust in 343 Industries… Totally understandable, but these people are ex-Bungie employees and I trust in their abilities of story writing. They can totally find a way to fit a dozen or so elites in the story. I hope they’re reading this and Happy Holidays to all my fellow Elite lovers.

Why don’t they remake those weapons to Forerunner tech? and call them something different and make them look different but they do the same thing!

Okay, seriously I agree with you. Although I am losing interest in covie weapons. Maybe Elite Easter eggs in campaign? I think they should start fresh with brand new weapons for everybody (BR and AR must stay though + pistol)
Aren’t covenant weapons based off of forerunner technology? If so, then they can easily exist in Halo 4. They’ll just look and sound differently, with only a degree of change in function.
i thought covenant technology was based on Forerunner tech. so if anything we will see similar weapons with similar effects and completely redesigned.
it would be nice feature to have elites with new weapons that are of their own design in Halo 4.
Either A.) The Elites are in the game, b.) If the Elites aren’t in the game, Covenant weapons are not in campaign but are in multiplayer, or C.) They are replaced with Forerunner weapons.
Okay, i see your points but I feel it would be kinda cheesy. Like is a simple graphic change gonna matter? Yes, some of the guns are getting old. But I love my plasma pistols and it doesn’t make sense to change it just for the sense of keeping things “new”.
