If my gold runs out...

I see no point in playing this game anymore. I have three months left of gold. The lack of offline featuree is insane and unacceptable. The multiplayer has saved this game. I can’t believe that there is no splitscreen multiplayer( I played the free trial and thought it was lies). All that is left is campaign and forge. This wouldn’t be a problem if the campaign is good but it is terrible.
I hope Halo 6 has a better campaign as well as having splitscreen. Splitscreen is important because when the servers are down or if no one has online you can still play multiplayer. Halo 2 for example, when the servers were down you could still play lan and splitscreen. If the severs are down in Halo 5 in the next decade, Halo 5 will be forgotten and will be useless to play due to the -Yoink- campaign. The lack of offline content I think is the reason the Halo 5 sales are poor. Needless to say I will buy this game if it is less than $20 dollars because that is how much it is worth. I want Halo to succeed and while Halo 5 succeeded in the multiplayer department, it epicly failed in campaign. I don’t need to explain why because check my Halo 5 review.
What do you think of Halo 5 offline? Do you find the game useless without online?

more bad news: you can’t access Forge offline. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway, no one buys Halo 5 to play offline, or at least, a very few minority who only play for it’s campaign. I only play multiplayer, so it’ll last me for another 3-4 years til the next Halo comes out.

All the gigs the game is it has only 1 offline playable mode: campaign. No splitscreen or local multi player play of any kind.
Meanwhile a 2 gig game called h:ce has splitscreen campaign and 4player local multiplayer with lan options.

I read the first sentence. Who cares?

How constructive.

H5 was designed to be played within the online community (as are most games these days). Player vs. player is always what makes a game enjoyable for the 2,000+ time. Anyways, I hope you find a game you can play offline…

I kind of agree. The always on line requirement for forge and firefight is annoying. I’m also wondering what is going to happen to the game when the ‘servers’ are eventually shut down.

The reason I posted this is because Halo has been known for it’s excellent story amd campaigns and having some offline content like forge, firefight, and of course splitscreen.
It is stupid that this game is only worth it for it’s multiplayer.
I hope Halo 6 isn’t going to turn out like Halo 5. By the way I am surprised that forge is online only. That is pathetic.:clap::clap:. That is all I can say. CPT F4LKON out.

If I bought this game without having gold, I would have falcon punch the disc.

2gb? CE is like 200mb lol

The H5 forge could be awesome for years if it was playable offline. You would think a company would like to leave a positive legacy of their works, something to come back to time and again. Offline allows that. It’s one of the reasons I go back and play the early games especially with split screen.

I agree Bionicled.

Welcome to the age of “No one plays splitscreen, so why add it?”

It’s utterly stupid. Games NEED viable offline content. Otherwise, as the OP said, they’ll become useless wastes of data storage once the servers get shut down (which WILL happen. Just look at Planetside…).

But in the modern era people nowadays usually purchase membership since PVP multiplayer is the way it is nowadays and majority have online connection. ALSO FOR OP HALO 5 FORGE IS COMING TO WINDOWS 10 SOON.
I put it in caps to make it more visible. Sry if its not allowed. Ill edit if so

OP. Your service record shows that you havent even played the game. So why you even complaining about it?

Not sure how the file size relates to game modes?
